Fantastic advice!!!! Thanks!!
ОтветитьGreat video....my cell company has voice identification when I call is that really work
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьYou could use Google Voice as the SMS 2FA and lock down the Google account. This is a good backup for those services or companies that only allow SMS.
ОтветитьTmobile told me my sim swap scam was done in store. How they were able to do this is beyond me. The request to have sim changes done only in stores would not have protected me in this instance. Scary!
ОтветитьWhat about getting a new cheap phone and a new prepaid SIM card and never connect it with the internet meaning turning off the mobile-data and then use it only for online banking purpose and nothing else. Would that be safe?
ОтветитьAnd what about a photoTAN with an external device for online banking?
ОтветитьThanks...appreciate you.
ОтветитьDude you are amazing thanks man it’s hard enough making money and surviving and then having a thief steal it all followed your steps will buy that yubikey from your affiliate link in another video and went ahead and gave a thumb up and smashed that subscribe button
ОтветитьThere are some other 2FA apps other than Google Authenticator. That way the hackers have to try and guess which one you are using....
ОтветитьThanks for these great tips. I will use them.
One note...IMHO....your "Molsen Canada" sign is ugly and distracting. You're probably using it for payout from your monetization, but there has got to be a better option. Please get rid of it.
Thank you again
This is like listening to a digital nightmare 🤣
ОтветитьIs there a reason you stressed writing the code in pencil?
Ответитьuse protonmail as your backup email...
ОтветитьThank you Hashoshi.. you the man bro
ОтветитьThey spoiled my whole life cried for months they are brainless!
ОтветитьHow do you get Google to no longer use the “Default” Notification mechanism over an authenticator app?
ОтветитьHow do you know if you have been SIM swapped
ОтветитьYou can't protect yourself and your family cuz the govt and the banks themselves want to launder money
The Technology available today can be used to stop all these kind of attacks but as long as theirs greed our systems won't be upgraded and I hope y'all know that the biggest criminals in the world have their own banking licences
They don't need to launder money
The banks do it for them
THEY ALWAYS CONTROLLING MY PHONE FOR 30 YEARS.
A STALKER FOR YEARS
I don't understand why google authenticator is better than sms. If someone's mobile is taken then the attacker can see the google authenticator too. Am I right?
ОтветитьExcellent! I've got work to do.
ОтветитьI got sim swapped. I had a Coinbase. Thankfully I didn’t have much on the exchange as I keep my funds majorally off the exchange. They got into my email and personally sent a message that wasn’t very kind and it was demeaning. No joke folks. Square up your security.
ОтветитьHow bout when you calll your service to not let the swim swap take. Place over the phone and there English is so bad. That. There tryin an to help you do a swim swap
ОтветитьHey bud , so if I want to be safe with my cryptos , I should get a new phone with no plan and no sim card? And store my cryto and crypto wallets like Exodus and Trust wallet apps on that phone and leave it at home and just use my wifi to buy or trade ect...? Is that the idea? Please let me know Ill appreciate it very much. 🙏
ОтветитьThanks this helped
ОтветитьGrater.।।।
ОтветитьWow fabulous information! Thank you.
ОтветитьThoughts on Efani?
ОтветитьWhy pencil?
Ответить"Google search" when will people stop saying that:
1. You are advertising for Google data-mining practices and keep perpetuating it
2. You are NOT paid for saying it. Think about that, selling a "service", google makes money selling the data they mined from people recommended coming to their search engine, and the "seller (that's you)" makes zip! That used to be called "affiliate marketing" but in this case, can't be, because people recommend googles search for free.
3. Why not just say "do a search", or "do an internet search" - then people can explore new search engines.
And this is a video about protection - yet promoting googles practices which at the very heart infringe on our privacy and protection - weird.
BTW Excellent video on the SIM swap. Old school stuff, but still good. Back in the day it was cellphone cloning. Just as bad. SIMS are easier now.
freaks think they are entitled to anything they think they deserve!!
ОтветитьHi, Can you make a video about SIM LOCK, this feature available in Android and iPhone. How is the sim lock work? Would it prevent SIM SWAP? AND further more about Esim. Would Esim prevent sim swap since it's not a physical sim card? Thanks
ОтветитьMy lady's dad had his identity taken and used once by someone out west in Cali. Apparently bought a house er 2 and like several cell phones. Crazy shit. And back in 2010 I went to file my taxes and they told me that SS# already filed. Like WTF?!? Then 10yrs later I throw away my PIN#, as I wasn't filimg that year, and find out I actually DID need itin order to get my stimulus check!? Oof was that a year long headache! Finally student loans paid off at a deep discount though so that's something. Life's a bitch, get a lock. Just not LifeLock®™😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhat if you need SMS verification code once to set up a 2FA banking app, is this any better?
ОтветитьYou are great. Thank you very much
ОтветитьThis is the best video I've seen about sim swap. I think the best option is to have a separate device offline to log into the other ones
ОтветитьWish you could use authenticator apps or security keys for banks.
ОтветитьThis happened to me. Worst experience of my life. Never i mean never let your phone out of your sight. Especially if you go to get your phone "fixed". Went through 7 phones during covid.
ОтветитьThank you so much. A lot of it was way over my head but what i did understand i will do.
ОтветитьStill relevant today
ОтветитьWhat is a ub key
ОтветитьIs YubiKey still a recommendation in 2024? (The link doesn't work)
ОтветитьWhat about the telecommunications software developer that provide the services.........on telecommuncations........which are in the cloud............
ОтветитьThis is such great information. I'm scratching my head going OMG. I do have a question. Do you know how to delete passwords that is hooked up to Google account FROM the phone without deleting them from the google account? Although I never access financial info on my phone or save it on my computer for automatic logging in.
ОтветитьI have 2 numbers. One for internet communication n one for official use. They swap w me they won’t get anything.
ОтветитьDon’t use GOOGLE!
ОтветитьWhat about a landline? I use that for some of my accounts. The robot calls me with a code. There is no sim to steal.
