Million dollar idea for Fallout 5: continue the story of the man that was kidnapped from the 18th century (or the Samurai) for the start of the game and take it literally any direction you want after that, and maybe even incorporate some sort of time travel that would allow you to actually watch the great war kick off from orbit in the ship and get deeper into the lore

IMO the two blasters are just different gun models. I mean do we only use the G19 in our weapon arsenal? No. We have the G19, G18, G17, M1911, P11, Desert Eagle, and more, hell the DLC proves this with the various weapons aboard Mothership Zeta like the atomizer. You nailed it, I tried to enjoy Starfield on my series X bit I can't, the shipbuilder sucks without a mouse it's not impossible but drains me of any fun. The umpf in the characters doesn't comes true and the Outpost building is just worse than Skyrims House Buildings. I learned to like 76's camp building but the shitiness about otrfabs was already their. They cut down the creativity with them so much... not that there aren't great ones but Bethesda does not understand what a watchtower is, they don't get basic Building concepts like keeping someone warm and dry and create bare one basic game assets that are not realistic. And they pair it with basic as fork functionality. If you buy a bowling lane than because you want to buy a bowling lane not that it could be a great post apocalyptic homestead... and you can't pair it easily with building sets. Fixing the flaws in there buildings? Not possible or only the slightest... and Starfield is the endgame in this. Only simplified prefabs exist the best way to build an immersive outpost is to trash your idea and go with Cargoport. As you said without a smile and that fits all. They saw what was successful in Fallout 4 and 76 and learned the wrong lessons from it. Not only in Building but in general. People like the caste open world of Skyrim here you have a thousand planets. You love crafting home sher settle on them... but not a single one looks different or even interesting enough, the colors suck, it's so clear on all levels that Bethesda doesn't understands what fans of their games like other than the stuff they already did to death and better in Oblivion. Even worse they NOW Relying on their community not fixing a settlement but a game. Starfield had Ben better if they narrowed it down to the Sol system or new Atlantis. They replaced handcrqfted glory with algorithm barboneness and didn't moved an ich from Fallout 4 technology, even their improvement of lighting stems from the fact they hired one of the best modders for Falout and Skyrim. It just feels soulless

I really liked the long format. Better than chill-n' with Netflix in my opinion. It was a very thorough examination of the alien mystery. I found myself writing a comment that you missed this or that and sure enough as I continued to watch you eventually focused on those things I thought you missed. You really covered the subject well. So well in fact that I could see exactly what the devs are doing. They know that people like you and me and a huge Fallout fan-base are so into the lore that they plant little hints of alien related activity all over the map for us to stumble upon. They know it will drive us crazy trying to make sense of it all, but it never will, at least not completely. We'll never get all the puzzle pieces because it's supposed to be a mystery and stay a mystery. We're like cats chasing a laser dot. We'll never catch the thing, but the devs are masters at keeping the laser dot game interesting.

Maybe I missed it but you can also get alien blaster ammo from the citadel after bombing it during the broken steel expansion. Cause the armory is deep in the ground that you get into. So the pentagon had studies then aswell
