I’m 100% sure no actually I 100% percent believe every farmer owns a gun. It’s like literally impossible to find a real farmer with no gun. It’s needed for a lot of reasons and intruders are one of them.

My buddys family who owns a farm shot a man. He kept stealing and finally tried to break in once. He ended up dying. Later they found out he had been convicted of manslaughter some 15 years ago and only served 7 or 8 years for it.

I woulda 100 percent shot the dude coming toward me in the corn field. Then ran. That way things could be figured out.

Guy in the second story apparently never heard of the saying "Don't point a gun at someone if you aren't willing to use it"

I can imagine stuck in a corn field surrounded by people with mask wearing all black chanting while surrounding you. I bet they probably doesn't even have an idea of what a gun is, considering they dđin't run after the 2 warning shots. I think when OP shot in their direction after he got out of the field he actually injured 1 or few of them which alerted the others that it's dangerous. It's almost like they were animals. And with a severed cow head, they must've had sharp objects and I'm speculating for it to be at least the size of a machete considereing the cow didn't moo high-pitched for a long period of time. OP never did mention the body tho. Where did the body go ?

I live on a farm and I can tell you if this had happened to me idve put one right in one of their legs. No murder. Just enough so they can’t run away and the police can arrest em.
