So kind of you to share your presets!
ОтветитьWe opened for Billy and Steve at Mud Island in Memphis in '85 or so. Steve was such a genuinely nice and kind guy -- helped me with my rig at sound check, was really approachable, etc. It is true he is way under recognized. He is the original master of the whammy bar in rock guitar.
ОтветитьAwesome top gun
ОтветитьI am more interested in the cool things you can do with fx routing in parallel, then the amp modeling. It certainly has gotten very good. I am still considering what Fractal to get. I am ultimately looking for a compact fx setup. My current setup sounds killer. I am looking at a device that allows me to manipulate loops in parallel/series change the order if needed. It is small enough to fit my pedal train jr. I have been curious about the FM3 or FM9. I do use stereo mag/piezo guitars, which the AXE FX 3 originally appealed to me for the multiple inputs and outputs. I am not planning on using the amp models or IR. I use my Amps/reactive load to send to fx. Stereo outs to 2 Two Notes Torpedo Cab M plus IR DI boxes. It works great.
Ответить🤘
ОтветитьI love Steve but damn, I wish he'd take his sun glasses off.
ОтветитьMan these presets are cool and sound great. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьJust a cool and bad ass dude!
ОтветитьI've been a fan of Steve since 1982. I saw him live with Billy Idol a number of times and he was always great.
ОтветитьWill these be made available for the FM9?
ОтветитьI wonder what monitors thats coming out of ?
ОтветитьOh boy! My decision on whether or not to get a Fractal just got decided for me. My two most favorite guitarists from the 80s are Mr. Stevens and Alex Lifeson. Just need the Lifeson presets next! (Hint hint Fractal)
ОтветитьJesus, Steve always has a monumental tone ... for me one of the best rock guitarists ever. ( every rock guitarist should study Steve Steven.... )
ОтветитьWhat are we listening to the Axe3 through in the video. FRFR monitors?
ОтветитьThanks Steve your AWESOME - thanks much
ОтветитьBe cool if Cliff invited all the AXE users to NH for a beer bash!
ОтветитьThank you! Rebel Yell is one of my face guitar tracks. Ever.
ОтветитьSounds great brother !
ОтветитьIs it changing the power amp in the plexi the key to reproduce his signature friedman?
ОтветитьI find myself using this preset A....LOT. Awesome
ОтветитьHis style was out of this world in 1984. I was a metalhead back then but loved the Rebel Yell album.
ОтветитьDude you have like a $5,000,000 studio, laptop, recording console, and a device that pumps out DI and you use the camera audio? Are you too lazy to wash your balls too?
ОтветитьWow, thx. These are awesome. I’m guessing that you can’t load the preset with 2 amps on an FM3? Any work-around to choose one of the amps rather than both?
ОтветитьThat Knaggs guitar is awesome, minus the headstock. But yeah this sounds spectacular.
ОтветитьStunning guitar!!
ОтветитьSteve has been in my top 10 since I was a kid. He is a phenomenal musician. Guys like him, Lukather - seriously talented and skilled artists - these are some of the guys that carved the way for my generation of 80’s players. Steve is tasteful and understands phrasing and context very well. Anyone can play power chords - he has an incredibly good sense of composition as well. An all around great guy and continues to give so much of himself to the music world. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьGood Lord-
Sounds amazing.
Fire up the Fractal.
A kemper just hanging out in the back ...
ОтветитьWhat's with the color of the video?
ОтветитьReally love these and thanks so much for sharing. On the waitlist for FM3.... time now standing still hehe.
ОтветитьGreat tones!
ОтветитьI want one!

ОтветитьThat paint job is fantastic. Optical illusion kind of. Love it!
ОтветитьThese patches sound awesome. Great work Steve.
ОтветитьSteve is a great guitarist but a brilliant musician first. He should be very proud.
ОтветитьMAN 🤘
Ответитьwow....what sound and tunes....blasted.... need all your tunes. Will buy
Ответитьiconic!
ОтветитьI think we need some b roll...
ОтветитьWhen is the Mark Day preset going to be available? No one comes close to his tones.
ОтветитьSteve’s a cool cat .. always has been .. rock on Steve 🙏
ОтветитьGreat sounds mr stevens !!!
ОтветитьSteve's getting fat!
ОтветитьAtomic Playboys rocked. I took a PE class in college. Each student was able to bring in a CD and that's what the entire class had to listen to for the class period. I brought in Atomic Playboys and absolutely cranked the volume. No one had heard of it. Jaws dropped. One of my best workouts.
Ответить🎸👍🤘🎼
ОтветитьHis dude is a beast and that Gi Tar is a monster.
