The small heart attack when you think it was a new Legacy version of the game. I'm actually glad it isn't because I would have to buy it right away and I don't have the time for a Legacy game atm

Agreed, I hate it when games make you do things outside of the game that take you out of the experience. It's the reason I won't buy the Deadpool expansion for Marvel Legendary.

I totally agree Sam! I love the game too. I will never use these Hell Cards either but I think you were a little harsh dropping so many points for them. Just throw out those cards and add a point to your rating, Your first review turned me on to the game and it is one of my favorites now. It's the first game I ever painted miniatures for. That was quite an adventure/learning experience.

SO, if you buy the core and expansion, is there anything you don't have that was in the Deluxe?

My friends can barely figure out fireball island. I can't imagine trying to get into this. Heroquest was simpler I think. That's about as far as I've gone with these hero games

had the game for a year and finally played It yesterday. It was good fun, so i ordered the expansion. only four left on Amazon!
