ОтветитьMerry Christmas everyone! And to a bright New Year full of promise and peace.
ОтветитьLeroy Anderson was the Assistant conductor of the Boston Pops, and (I believe) Sleigh Ride was written for the Pops. It's no surprise that they play it better than any other group.
ОтветитьI love that song
ОтветитьWonderful music
ОтветитьI guess only in the Mountains and Canada this year. LOL
ОтветитьEvery year starting in late November this song will always play on multiple radio stations.
ОтветитьThis is my go to for Sleigh Ride. It is the Best
ОтветитьWhy does it sound like Santa Claus is slapping his reindeer’s with a belt
ОтветитьThis is the best my music teacher plays this SO much
ОтветитьMY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS SONG
ОтветитьThere used to be something called "light music", with the likes of Leroy Anderson among its finest composers. These days, people with his kind of talent are working in movies, TV or more probably video-gaming, rather than writing like this for concert orchestra. Apart from the sheer skill of the orchestration, what makes this a standout piece is its melodic richness - three strong tunes in under three minutes. We are not worthy.
ОтветитьUnmerry Christmas 🌲 and a miserable new year 💩🤮 to you
ОтветитьPray for my high school band class every our concert is this week and we sound like ass 😭🙏
ОтветитьThe best Christmas theme! 🎄

ОтветитьKInda sounds like the very much whipped horse sees death coming its way, near the end of the song.
