Not a fan of the Sequels. But this scene was brilliant. Luke showing how powerful he is in his last moment, the jedi way.

When hologram Luke had his lightsaber up he was basically just dancing around Kylo's swings. Which when you think about is the basic equivalent to an uncle who's an experienced mma fighter just humiliating and embarrassing an inexperienced, hot-tempered nephew who just challenged him in front of all his friends like Luke basically humiliated Kylo in front of his own armada.

There is much conflict in me, because they absolutely shot and missed with this trilogy as a whole, however, this is one of the most beautiful and powerful moments in all of Star Wars , this is perfect.

I see two Skywalkers one conflicted and the other strong.

Despite how people felt about the sequels , we could've had a jedi order made of legends and canon characters, new republic, resistance(Leia's rebellion). kylo ren, Knights of Ren, darth Caedus and darth talon could've been the antagonist of the sequels, thus there never would've been a "last jedi" because ben Skywalker, finn, rey solana , jaina solo or kyle katarn would've been well equipped when luke died.

TLJ is full of memorable moments. My only complaint is that they did Finn a bit dirty and somehow decided to make Rey’s power even more super. That’s one of the reasons why we ended up with a sloppy mess-ending by JJ.

I will never get why people hate this scene. Luke isn't doing ninja flips or using the force to crush all the AT-ATs. He's using the full power of the force to allow the rest of the rebellion to escape. Would it have been cooler if Luke actually showed up in person? In my opinon, No. Because then we wouldn't have that final shot with Luke and the binary sunset.

Also if you wanted to see Luke being strong in the force, I think being able to create a fully formed illusion of yourself shows a definite level of mastery over the force.

It’s pretty Cool they made Kylo-Ren’s Lightsaber look like a Knightsword.

I would like to Introduce a “Katana-Lightsaber”, a Lightsaber shaped exactly like a Katana-Blade.
I know it’s Curved but I still like to Introduce a Lightsaber design like that. The Lightsaber-Handle is a Katana-handle, The Tsuba is a Jedi-Symbol, too.
Picture something like that in Star wars.
That’s absolutely Something I like to Introduce to Star wars.
