It's worse when it's kids I've been to scenes with kids I went to school with and they died

UK medics are soft as hell, you do t get no “breakdowns” over here.. this is what you signed up for lol

These Guys are Angels in disguise. This will stay with them for the rest of their life's. But they carry on regardless. The bond they must have will be unbreakable after dealing with things like this together. I moan when I have to work out in cold wet weather., I go home get warm and forget it. They have a bad day it scars them for life.

These are true heroes, when my boyfriend died on the scene of a car accident 3 months ago I just imagine what they had to witness and endure when trying to work on him huge respect to first responders 😞

54 years ago I was 12 y/o. I was on vacation with my aunt and uncle. We were the first on the scene of a 1 car and 1 18 wheel truck head on accident. One car was a family with children in the backseat. Their luggage was strewn all over the hwy. One little arm with a child's bracelet on it was out of the window. There were 2 adults and 3 children in the car. The truck driver was thrown thru the windshield and his arm was trapped in the engine. Hot liquid was all over him and his skin was melted and hanging off...I can still see it all in my mind....it's something that stays with you forever. If we'd been a few seconds sooner...we might have been involved.

It hurts to watch this, i was in a coma for 6 lonyhs inhad 3 heart attacks. At any point i couldve been confirmed dead. I always think back to what family and friends felt. The hurt id have left behind. This just breaks my heart

I've stood seeing too young boys,innocently shot and dying in his blood gasping for air...driveby shooting,dog crying half body flattened by car crying for help,man spewing blood out his mouth after jumping bridge(suicide) broken arms,my 3year old sister under a car when i was 5...her body just missed the wheels,front end under car...car crashes cracked skulls open...have seen two girls burning to death shouting for help in car crash on our freeway,but life makes you see the reality of choices and consequences.I've seen it all
