ОтветитьI love your videos. Could you do a video on how to get steady with backwards one foot skating? I feel like I rock on my blade when going backward on one foot and need to figure out how to hold a strong steady and long glide so I can learn things like the three turn and waltz jump.

1: heel clicks- creates more time in air
•start with singles, then move on to doubles and triples
2: split turns- helps with height
•start with half turns, then full turns
3: back spin rotation- helps with rotations speed
•stage one- arms rounded to the right, feet in h position
stage two- arms crossed on chest, foot crossed, proper air position
stage there- arms closed, feet crossed, this time jump out into a landing at end
4: hop backs- start with quarter turns, then half, then 3/4, then full
5: 4 strong single jumps after doing quarter jumps to warm up
6: double turns

ОтветитьWell I've never skated before in my life but I can do a 3/4 rotation with no problem. It would be fun to learn to make a double rotation, I think it will help me get a better sense of balance :)

Why do you feel like it was something that really felt nessecary? I ask because I want to be really good at skating, and im looking for a direction!

You put your step label that covers your legs movement in slow motion it's hard to see what's behind the writing. Maybe because I'm watching on a phone it might be different at a computer or TV

ОтветитьI GOT ONE AND A HALF ROTATIONS USING THIS!!!! I could barely get one at first and if I was reallyyy trying I could get one and a quarter, after this I could effortlessly do one and a quarter AND one and a half! The key is to watch her upper body!!
