You should read: Type Speaks by Steven Heller and Gail Anderson. Honestly quite a handy book when it comes to typography (I’m a student who’ll be studying graphic design soon lol) since it celebrates many recent designers and their works; truly a visual treat too ahaha!

ОтветитьJust stumbled upon your content and currently binging on it, fabulous fabulous work 🤌
ОтветитьYou might take a look at my book, Advanced Typography, published by Bloomsbury.
ОтветитьGreat choices. I find that many design books look too much like picture books. I love to find books that go into well established rules of doing something and reasoning behind it. I think it gives more credibility to the craft and weapons to fight off pesky design changes. Without any rules to fall back on it just becomes a matter of subjective opinion where everyone feel like they’re an expert.
