I love this song. It’s a good reminder that no matter your politics, assassination is never the way to express your opinion. It always leads to further division and hatred. Our country would’ve been much better if these three men had never been assassinated.
I was seven when JFK was assassinated. It was a huge loss of innocence for our nation. MLK’s peaceful resistance would have been a much more productive approach, than the race pimping that followed. You rarely hear the term brotherhood anymore and it’s really sad. We are all created in the image of God.

I'm a 74 year old Canadian. I remember as a child in school the principal came into our classroom and whispered something into out teachers ear. She broke into tears and told us class was dismissed. We should go home. When I got home I found my mom and dad holding each other in grief and crying. Jack Kennedy had been killed. Now it's 2025. Canadians do not hate Americans...but we hate the man who would mock our grief and tear us apart. Elbows up! And God save America!

Had Bobby been elected, many lives would have been saved. He would have ended Vietnam. Anyone who says itherywise really hasn't studied the Kennedy family (I recommend you do). Bobby was ruthless but had integrity (at least when it came to politics). He would have also passed an updated Civil Rights act that reflected HIS values. Unions would be stronger sn6d farm labor would have been respected and protected. Laslty, my FIL would likely still be alive instead of dying last year from the inevitable results of Agent Orange ravaging his body for the last nearly 60 years. Damn, what a waste.
