As I’m from the Middle East we sometimes eat with our hands but not only us Indians and more and how I saw those kids except Celine she was being so kind she didn’t complain but the other kids we’re actually making fun of us

in Middle Eastern and South Asian countries it is common to eat with ones hands , typically you eat with your right hand and use you left for other purposes such as going to the bathroom. It is not dehumanizing, nor a form of psychological torture , it is simply just culture

You treat criminals too good/nicely when they commit serious crimes and are serving a sentence then prison isn't a punishment or a place they avoid. No deterrent. I had groundings as a kid that were tougher than most prisoners in the states experience.

I love how those kids immediately get the concept of that Australian prison (and in many other countries they do things like that as well, Norway comes to my mind first) where the do not just look up the inmates and keep them in there until they served their time, but actually try to prepare prisoners to have a live and through education a chance for a job etc without getting into unlawful activities again.
