ОтветитьI have a c1-c4 fusion at 30 from a bicycle accident. I have the option of having it removed. Would you? Minimal pain with loss of motion.
ОтветитьI have cervical spine ddd and problems with c6 c7 I have had this for 3 years and tried physical therapy, they say therapy can help but after seeing this video I don’t understand how therapy can rid me of the spurs I have and lengthen my spine no wonder it didn’t work! I didn’t have insurance when I had my mri and they literally did nothing for me. I have insurance now but I just can’t stand the healthcare people I had dealt with so I just deal with a lot of pain and anguish. But I am tired and need help should I just set up an appointment with a spine specialist? I just don’t know and this pain also causes confusion for me I know it has to die to this spine problem. Thanks for the video
ОтветитьI am having a four level cervical fusion next Friday, I’m having some serious weakness in my legs and arms.
I just pray everything works after there done 😢.
Thank you for sharing this

ОтветитьHow do you stay away from the spinal cord? How do you prevent shrapnel from damaging it?

ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. I have had 3 back fusions years ago, but now am facing my first cervical. I believe I need two levels for sure and possibly a 3rd. I'm nervous about having this done, as my health has declined since my lower lumbar fusions. I have spurs, herniations, bulging, stenosis, and arthritis. Been having terrible headaches, my arms feel like they are being squeezed or constantly asleep, and my hands go numb. Not sure as to which entry my Neurosurgeon will do as he is going to do a CT to figure out that part of the plan. Your video and explanation of the procedure put me at ease some. Just scared because I am diabetic, have peripheral neuropathy, and have had a double bypass. I am curious as to how risky you feel this may be for me.
ОтветитьThank you Doctor - this was such a help for me to understand my upcoming acdf surgery. God bless you!
ОтветитьI just had this Procedure done two weeks ago. During surgery, my left shoulder was dislocated. My shoulders and neck are on fire and like needles poking me. After a new MRI, x-ray and CT scan, it shows that the screws are loose and at least one broke. So on 6/7/22 we are going back for a 2nd surgery to correct it. Thank you for sharing the video. My family now knows exactly what there doing on me.
ОтветитьLooks like you really did a good job, but I would never recommend anyone get this done unless they truely have no options left.
ОтветитьJust had this done 3 days ago. The skull above both ears is incredibly sore. Can someone tell me why? TIA.
Ответитьwhere do you take the autograft from? The iliac? Also when you're making sure the vertebral bodies are parallel are you just eyeballing it until using the spacer?
ОтветитьAwesome explanation with demonstration.
ОтветитьSó Deus refizeram 4 em mim
ОтветитьHaving it done it February. My pain management using anti-depressants for 10 years. Pain jumped to catastrophic a month ago. I am hearing immediately pain relief after procedure? Or should I prepare myself for a few days of pain during the healing? Do you spend a night in the hospital? I do have cord signaling issues from MRI which indicates spine damage. That cant be repaired. Any feedback or advice appreciated.
ОтветитьAnnulus and PLL is still left behind, only osteophytes drill.
Cervical Spinal Cord is not seen?
Incomplete decompression.
Thankyou
ОтветитьExcellent video.
ОтветитьThis is so beautiful
ОтветитьGreat video and very well done. Just today got back from my pre surgery visit with the spinal surgeon who will be doing just exactly this next week. C5-C6 C6-C7 to be exact. I've been gorging on all videos and information I can and this is one the most concise and well done ones. Thanks for taking the time to make and post it. Funny though that my wife just took some spare ribs out of the oven and she couldn't understand how I could eat them and watch this at the same time. I thought it looked pretty similar to the video at some points. Humor is the only thing that's getting me through this so that's my excuse :)
ОтветитьOk. PPP N. M
ОтветитьI just wonder how do you get to cervical vertebrae? I mean there is so much organs and elements in front of it
ОтветитьDr. What is your opinion of ACDF vs. ADR? When would one be preferable over the other?
ОтветитьI did this on my friend, he is sleeping peacefully, good job.
