I disagree. In my opinion, we have to learn to be confident of whatever we are. It means that we have to be comfortable both using makeup and not using it. But, as you said, we need time to get this confidence :)

I love your videos! I been binge watching you for the past week or so lol. I love how positive you always are and in this video how confident you are with out makeup. People don’t realize that acne can really affect people’s self esteem especially since you can’t control it most of the time. My acne scars and I been on a roller coaster because one minute they’re okay and the next they stand out more than usual but I’m happy my skin is improving and I found products that work for me. Your videos helped me a lot with tips and tricks or product recommendations. Keep doing what you do 💜

I’m happy I found your channel. I just turned 35 and get the cystic acne. Although, my acne condition is mostly contained these days, it’s extremely oily 😩
I too began breaking out badly at 15 years old and it effected my self esteem extremely. I started to cry while listening to you because it brought back all of those feelings and the people that said mean things. Thank you for making these videos and providing information for us! 💕💋🙌🏻

This girl is so me... everything she said at the beginning mostly. Acne really sucks. So depressive and really hard to take on the day without makeup. I only have acne scars all over my jawline but I don't have anything on my T-zone or chin. I algo have freckles on my nose and I like my factions but If only I could go to college with a naked face... paradise ○ Whats your story?

You are still very beautiful with make up or not . I have struggled with acne since I was about 10 because I starts everything very early . And I have to go to the dermatologist and take medicine , even if I wash my wash my face a couple times a day . What is really good for acne is taking accurate, or even spironolactone.

just wanted to drop by and say that you are beautiful both with and without makeup. i am 27 and have had moderate to severe acne (cystic and hormonal since i was about 20) for about 15 years now. your words in the intro to this video are so comforting and encouraging to me, because i would so love to be one of those carefree beauties who is totally comfortable living life makeup-free. and i have had comments before about how if i want my acne to go away i should just quit wearing makeup to give my skin a break, despite being told differently by dermatologists who treat me! anyway, all this to say, THANK YOU for the transparency and for sharing your beautiful self. it makes a difference for so many of us fellow sufferers to hear we are not alone :)

does it affect what beauty bender you use?

It is just so frustrating to see some people who eat shits and still have beautiful skin not like me when I have to choose the food that I eat and rarely eat shit but still the acne are still there. I am forced to wear make-up to cover it though I don't really feel like wearing it and most of all I think I could have saved a lot of money if not for all the treatments, medicines etc. just to get rid of something(acne) that does not go away. It is a tiring a battle.

Thank you for being brave. You are helping others. Many, many, many people suffer from acne. My problem is some acne and a lot of hyperpigmentation.

Before you took your eyebrow makeup off I thought they where real! You are really good at makeup! If you want them thicker you should consider getting them tattooed on! BTW I know the struggle my skin is horrible and people always think i just don't wash! I hate it. You skin is really nice and makeup is amazing. 🙈💙🔥💋🌍💕✨

You've helped me make up my mind - I'm getting the Tart foundation! I have cystic acne all over my cheeks and this is so helpful to see. All my current makeup can't handle my recent skin condition and I've been too scared to try anything new in case my skin has a reaction (also I'm broke lol). But it looks like it's worth the investment and I really ought to do it for my own happiness. Thank you for putting yourself out there and making this helpful video!

I also suffer from acne. It's hard to find a good foundation route that actually covers up acne.

No matter how I apply my foundation, the peach fuzz on my cheeks always looks horrible and textured. I moisturiser, prime and wait an between 45 minutes to an hour between preparing my skin and makeup application. My foundation always looks cakey :(.

omg thank you for doing this!!! ive struggled with acne since i hit puberty....before my skin was perfect ever since then its been a nightmare even with proactiv and all other cleanser products for acne.... I personally know how awful it is to have people ask you if you even wash your face when you do wash your face at least twice a day and the acne never goes away so thank you so much for this video you've helped my confidence and helped me look for better make a products to cover up my blemishes

Girl, i got 8 minutes into this video and just kept saying to myself that I completely resonate with you. I have struggled with acne since I was a pre-teen, and i'm now currently 26. In the last 4 years my acne became cystic and NOTHING worked. It was hormonal just like yours is, and unfortunately the only thing that worked for me was to start taking birth control. I had and still have scarring that looks very similar to yours, so believe me when I say I FEEL YA GIRL. I use to always feel bad for feeling the NEED to wear foundation to cover my scars, especially when all my friends could go bare faced in public no problem. Now I feel more confident and have grown comfortable with my imperfections. It's still rare that I'll go in public without some sort of coverage, but when I do, I try my best to just embrace it. You're a beautiful girl, don't let anyones opinions get you down. Just like you said, if it makes you feel more confident to wear foundation, then rock that shit! ;) It's nice to see someone else out there who struggles with the same thing that I did and sometimes still do! <3 It takes some balls to post this.

I connect to you so much, especially with being uncomfortable with wearing a natural face. I've always worn make up since I was very young and I really regret it because now I never ever let anyone see me natural, it doesn't feel like me and makes me super self conscious. I also have redness and acne, even after accurate and birth control, and I've also had people tell me that it's from my make up and such but it's really not, it's hormonal. I've found a lot of the body shop products has helped my skin (tea tree serum and vitamin c scrub for me in particular) look and feel more healthy. I'm happy and glad I've found someone who has similar thoughts as me! You're a very pretty girl, natural or glammed up!

Can anyone recommend a smudge/water-proof concealer for body acne scars? Something that won't easily smudge and run when rubbing against my clothing, or furniture.
