Why didnt u put an inner plate in the back of the weld as an overlap for the strength since it is a high impact piece of the frame isnt it weaker now ?

Hi Ben. Seeing you using that angle grinder without its guard needed some good background music. The song from the movie Top Gun, "Highway to the Danger Zone," would have been perfect. However, I would change the title to "Grinding to the Danger Zone." Please be more careful out there.
