The most impressive thing about Y7 for me was how perfectly they took the Yakuza series tropes and modern Japanese pop culture and perfectly translated them to a classic JRPG framework. Like of course Hosts would be Mages and convenience store sake would be MP restoration, it could never be any other way. It was a really fresh take on the system. But Kiryu being able to literally break free from the turn-based system blows my mind, of course the madmen at RGG would be the guys to think of this lol

i’m blown away by how well they recreated waikiki, it feels like i’m there. it’s pretty damn accurate, i’m literally watching ichi on the bike and able to tell which exact street he’s on or what hotel/shop he’s surrounded by. so stoked for the release

Es algo ventajoso para el jugador a diferencia del clasico combate que dependia mucho de la habilidad, supongo que en el 6 muere la saga Yakuza con Kiryu y en Like A Dragon empieza con ese peinado de afro? Bueno al menos aun mantienen a Kiryu en estas nuevas "temporadas".

Ichiban is hilarious. That first game was so funny. The enemies in that game were so funny it made you want to find all of them. He is no kiryu or majima but he is definitely an amazing character.

Western videogame companies, dont have 1/3 of the creativity of the asian ones.

I’m sorry but turn based and yakuza just looks boring. Bring back street fights like in yakuza 0 that game is easily S tier. Or at least let us choose the gameplay style for the game in settings vs some 10 second unleash the dragon mechanic lol the enemies don’t even fight back 😪

battle theme sounds a bit lame this time around, no yokohama crackhouse thats for sure. but as a game as large and epic as this, it had to take a sacrifice somewhere.

I'm sorta wondering if Dragons Resurgence changes depending on combat style,,, Example: Rush = Agent Styles Heatmode combo, Beast = Yakuza 5's Heatmode, And of course Yakuza Styles Heatmode being the Dragon engines heatmode combo

It's as if other party members and enemies have been playing along because Ichiban is Dragon Quest fan, but Kiryu simply doesn't give a $h!t about all this turn-based crap, lol

The delivery mini-game is a tribute to SegaSaturn Delisoba Deluxe
