I was wrong about org-roam

Good to know that it uses SQLite... I use Syncthing to sync my notes database (and everything else) across devices but one thing that I just can't figure out is how to sync .sqlite databases. That will make it harder to use this - someone must have come up with a solution!

I'm glad you revisited org-roam. One of my favorite features is how it differentiates between a new file template or an addition to an existing file. I use daily files a lot. I pretty much have a separate daily capture template for every recurring meeting. With standard org capture it wasn't clear to me how to automatically initialize a new file with all the stuff I want like extra properties and title etc.

Also, there's LogSeq of course, which can do both: Orgmode and Markdown
