You and the whole Paddock podcast lot have been defending the oh-so-obvious useless Rashford for the past two years. I've been watching United for 50 years, and he is comfortably the most overrated player at the club in all that time.

I mean, the problem isn't managerial. Manchester United are going through something similar that Chelsea were going through. There is something deep rooted in the club that has been a issue since before Jose Mourinho. So it is not a easy fix to do over 1 match.

Mourinho has said this, and nobody listened, and people will hate on Mourinho, but he has done something that no recent manager of Manchester has done, Devils won a UEFA Europa League crown, League cup while also finishing second in the Premier League, behind Manchester City. Which is something managers now are finding very hard.

Mistake was getting rid of Mourinho. At least with him, he'd fight for us. Managers now are just submitting easily to higher ups. If you argue they sack you. ETH, just did what he was told. Why else would he of gotten rid of Da Gea, Ronaldo and most of our best players. Even before Ten Hag, Our good players were all sold. It makes no sense. Everyone keeps blaming the managers but we've had some of the best managers and basically they couldn't do shit.

To be honest the situation now is like how Leeds and Nottingham forest got to their situation. They had to rebuild for years. Even got them relegated. So that is how serious Manchester's situation is. Like if Ipswich can make us look average Jesus Christ we isn't looking so good.

He'd sell them in a heart beat for players with more passion. No point in keeping players that do not want to perform. But for now we going to see a trend of sacking managers. We're even worse than how Chelsea were. Amorim, will be sacked within months just like ETH before him unless he can handle the whole club in a way sir alex did. Alex was more like a godfather, to the club and everyone respected him. Rashford and garnacho are not creative at all and casemiro and erikson are not mobile enough to be the pivots. Amad has to be one of those inside 10s or maybe mainoo or mount with bruno because the rest of the offensive players do not know what to do if they can’t shoot.

I know he scored yesterday and is everyone's golden boy, but Rashford is one of the players who will need to be replaced if Amorim can be ruthless to implement his style. Players like Rashford, Evans, Casemiro, Eriksen, and probably one or two more will have to make way.

At this point if anyone still thinks Rashford is top player and can help us back to the top is an idiot and is part of holding this club back.

Whatever Rashford does people are on his back! When Hojlund plays the excuses are that he’s got poor service but when it’s Rashford it becomes he does work enough. Did he get the service he needed? I don’t think so. And all these only had two to adapt to a new way of playing

I thought United were much better under Ruud in the previous 4 games, free flowing and scoring a lot of goals, thats because these players are very suited to 4-2-3-1 and counter attack football
Im sure if Amorim had set them up to play like that they would have been better and won, HOWEVER, that is not why he is here, he is here to change this team into his philosophy and players are just not used to where they need to be and what they need to do, so getting a draw and not looking great at it is part of the process. It will take time to transition them from what they know, to what they need to be under Amorim

Im surprised you are looking at it like this Ste, Amorim has come in the middle of the season, with 2 days training, to change the way we play and how the players have to move, so I wouldn't even look at this performance as anything other than its part of the learning to change the team from how they used to play, to how they will play under Amorim. Its a work in progress.

We consistently miss out on strikers that fit our need in favour in young unproven ones and the poor coversation rates we have seen these past 2 years is evidence of this. Ivan Toney should absolutely have been chased instead of Zirzkee. Don't care about age or resale value, we needed someone to rely on while Holjubd is still developing.

If "scoring too early" is a bad thing for a player, then there can be no question of how weak their mentality is.

To be fair, games, particularly away games against teams who have very few international players like ipswich after the international break have a long standing reputation for being difficult and throwing out strange results. Poor performance but ipswich we're excellent. I wouldnt read too much into this.
