This maybe 2 months ago, but being interested in DCS give inspiration to challenge or try new things for a descent setup.

Can you setup trackir with a nonlinear acceleration curve such that you can see behind you in the game without turning your head around irl where you cant see your monitor?

Maybe I should simply ask, can you see behind you in dcs with trackir when using only one monitor?

Hi GS,a nice insight to the gear you use and layout. I also have the TM Warthog, how do you bind your keys on the HOTAS do you use the TM software or do you bind them ingame? Would you consider uploading your config file for the HOTAS?

the tflight hotas one is pretty good, if you set up the 2 small backbuttons on the throttle to modifiers you have enough keys for pretty much every important control

All my sim equipment is also thrustmaster lol. Even my racing sim equipment lol.

Cool we both use a 55in TV.

Can you get good with mouse and keyboard?

What do you use the most the VR or your 55" screen??

I have to run mine off a laptop 😅

Curious about your graphics settings within DCS. Are you running 4k or 1080p? Do you find spotting to be harder with higher resolutions?

It's always nice to see the YT DCS pros setup, just to remind myself that with a very simular set up, I still suck at DCS 😂
I guess I need more time in the sim.

So I'm looking at stuff for getting into DCS, and there's a TrackIR accessory that you can get with TrackIR, called TrackClip. There's a pro version and a basic version, but my question is can you play it without getting TrackClip at all, or does TrackIR need the accessory to function properly?

Do you use track IR or the VR headset more?

Weapons School instructors everywhere are disappointed you only used one pen color in your debrief!

Do you use curves on your inputs? Does it depend on the aircraft?

Awesome to see you behind the scenes GS, ive always had Logitech joysticks growing up usually playing old Novalogic games, however if most logitech sticks work good with DCS id love to know if its the case, im not sure if Saitek Joysticks would be good either too since they came with CD's some time ago with something for the setup, but from watching the video i definitely am amazed how it all began to where you are now. Congrats and awesome layout

Yeah for a cheaper alternative setup (not that I'm any good atm :P )
I use an iPhone for head tracking (mounted on my monitor by a Smallrig Super Camera Clamp Mount)
-Head Tracker iOS and OpenTrack PC
A Thrustmaster T1600m stick and throttle
A Thrustmaster TFRP

No desk mounts yet but can't say I haven't looked into it. I've tried designing and printing some to mount to my chair but no luck yet lol
