Is it still dangerous to wear a pair of Nike Cortezs in your hood? It’s definitely not as crazy where I’m from lol
ОтветитьNote to self, don't ever walk down the streets of LA wearing these unless your affiliated.
ОтветитьWe called the Cortezs "Dopemans" where im from growing up.
ОтветитьCortez was so gangster, he slaughtered millions of indigenous people, forced white Jesus on em and made em wear a shoe named after him
ОтветитьI am most familiar with Jordan shoes. I buy other brands based on purpose (e.g. tennis, cycling) and reviews. I just heard of these Nike Cortez shoes today and after learning its history, I have added it to my Wish List.
ОтветитьTheyre the perfect shoe for throwing hands in lmao! They got hella grip on the bottom so u dont be slipping
ОтветитьBecause of me in Jesus name and GOD is his name... In his name 😶🌫️ shhhh 🤫
ОтветитьI HAD A PAIR WHEN I WAS IN 3RD GRADE AND MY NAME IS MORTEZ LOL

ОтветитьI want these shoes just cause of Eazy-E
ОтветитьI owned a pair of Tiger Corsair back in 84 .
Better looking than the Cortez in my opinion .
💚
Ответитьowning some Cortez and tailwind 79 one similarity with these Nike shoes is that they are not good on wet floors. For those who are planning to buy these shoes, be careful when walking on floor that are wet or just mopped because they tend to be very slippery!
ОтветитьIf I wear this shoe everyone will call me Vato
Ответить20+ years ago I didn’t have a clue they were gangster related when I first bought mine, my cousin told me after he asked “why are you wearing those shoes?” They look cool. The black leather ones, white swoosh with the black soul and the white wedge are my favorite
ОтветитьI had a pair in elementary
ОтветитьThe dope man Nike’s
ОтветитьIt's crazy couse cortez was actually the guy who basically fucked up the aztec (murdered 100k of them) and the fact that adidas called their shoe the Aztek makes it pretty interesting
ОтветитьI had a few pairs and the glued sole always separated from the upper.
ОтветитьEdison can save u?
ОтветитьSeveral pair in 91
ОтветитьYES I HAVE OWNED A PAIR OF NIKE CORTEZ OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. YEAH BEST BELIEVE THAT
ОтветитьWearing Cortez in my time meant being a target
ОтветитьEven Wazir Patar is fond of Cortez
ОтветитьOnitsuka over nike. they stole the design
ОтветитьI have a question, I got my hands on a pair of Nike Cortez obsidian but on the back the Nike is stitched in the blue part not the white tab, it looks like it was made in the 70’s I don’t know the year
Ответить😂 these were some of the first nikes i had at 6 my dad brother uncles we all wore a pair as hispanics this definitely was the style in the 2000s
ОтветитьThey was called G Nikes, I never heard of dope man Nikey
ОтветитьIs it safe to wear in LA now💀
ОтветитьAy vato. My first encounter with Cortez' was in the barrio. I had about 10 Cortez' all kicking me in the face. In a local gang war. What a way to remember! Cortez' get my stamp of approval ese!
ОтветитьNIKE baby!!
ОтветитьA shoe named Cortez is such a disrespect
Ответить😍💚
ОтветитьNike suing everyone for “stealing” their designs when RIP Bowerman stole two bits of two Onitsuka models to create the Cortez is crazy. Plus no one can honestly deny adidas introduced the look for which Nike is best known. Karhu first introduced Air Cushioning tech. adidas was found to have designed Primeknit before Nike introduced Flyknit. Where would Nike be without the Cortez, Air and Flyknit?
Swoosh wasn’t registered until 1974. Nike didn’t begin true advertising until 1976. Their rise was quick. Their location, the Onitsuka head start and RIP Bowerman exploiting U.S. nationalism had a lot to do with that.
✌🏽💙👟
Nice shoes! But not made for the wide foot.
ОтветитьAlways wanted a pair
ОтветитьRight now I can not find any men’s Cortez so it did go out of style
ОтветитьEvery time I see Nike Cortez, it reminds of Eazy-E.
ОтветитьOf course. White business men fighting over a civilizations name for a fucking shoe. Aye they are still classics though
ОтветитьElementary i have this but I'm not sure if its legit or fake.
ОтветитьI had one. B ack at the 80 s today I have try to get them but. The f ty.stop the f tion
ОтветитьAs an official member of the community of gangsters, I can confirm that the Cortez shoe is a highly important staple and has been for many decades.
ОтветитьGang show?? but I like the Cortez because of Bruno Mars!
ОтветитьI used to rocket pair of Nikes in the 90s baby crease my pants so they stood up on their own made sure the tips on my shoes were perfect but I have to get a new pair
ОтветитьLove them but they crushed my feet. Not wide enough fit for me.
ОтветитьStolen from Mexico look up Panama Shoes .. NIKE STOLE THE STYLE
