ОтветитьI watched AFL once on a flight, it was confusing… now i‘m a little bit less confused…
ОтветитьHeard about AFL and after seeing this It is really a hybrid powerfull entertaining game love to be a fan of this sports.
ОтветитьI'm guessing you can't tackle if they don't have the ball?
Ответитьto many rules.... silly.... soccer/football is supreme
ОтветитьMy grandmother was Australian but she lived in America for over 40 years and she did become an American citizen in 2001. The first time she saw American football she was like “This is football?!?!” Because in American football there’s not so much kicking haha. I do follow the AFL from New York but it’s challenging because the games are usually in the middle of the night.
ОтветитьFootball ⚽️ American Football 🏈 Basketball 🏀 and Rugby 🏉 all in one.
Ответитьhi from Czech republic in central europa, so for me it is new thing that such game exist, or maybe I heard in the past about this sport game, but without imagine what it means, so have a good time pals
ОтветитьDangous
ОтветитьI love watching AFL games. Hard to find over here in the US, but some are available.
ОтветитьThis is a brilliant description of the game.
Ответитьwow at first i'm confused but now i want to watch this sport when NFL isn't around
ОтветитьI'm an American. Just watched this, then started watching a game, and i have questions. Wtf was that throw in? A ref chucking it backwards over their head?
Can you do a more in-depth explainer?
Not going to watch. Our good old sport is now a joke.
ОтветитьCmon now. The fist pass is in Gaelic Football too. 😂
ОтветитьHow is this different from Rugby? Somebody pls explain
ОтветитьBack in the mid-80s ESPN used to show matches late at night in the US. Back then they had just moved to broadcasting around the clock and had trouble filling out the schedule. I seem to recall thinking that 80% of the rules are very intuitive and you can pick most of them up just by watching part of one match. I guess having no offsides rule helps...

ОтветитьShow this to west coast and north melbourne
ОтветитьI‘m from Germany…the sport sounds so interesting
ОтветитьShow this to West Coast Eagles
ОтветитьO Thor no podpah citou esse esporte
ОтветитьVIM PELO CHRIS NO PODPAH
ОтветитьThis game suits Australia. It’s stupid.
ОтветитьCharlie needs to watch this
ОтветитьCame from Moist Critical Charlie playing the game. I needed to understand what was happening.
ОтветитьSeems similar to both rugby & American football.
Ответить“Speed of nfl” …doubt
ОтветитьThis looks way more energetic and exciting than the NFL!
ОтветитьHow to get a Collingwood fan to shut up:
1: remind them of 2018 they break down into tears every time!
2: remind them that they have missing teeth due to their violence and profanity.
3: remind them that West Coast will drink their tears again if they are especially mouthy.
It’s amazing how different countries have different sports that are popular.
ОтветитьSo can you kick for goal from anywhere on the field? And you can only kick for goal, you can't run it under the posts and touch it down?
Ответитьif football and american football had a child
Ответитьthis is like nfl and rugby mixed together
ОтветитьI had no idea this game existed until age 30… it’s amazing
ОтветитьThis looks more interesting than the rugby league
ОтветитьFootball for kickers and punters
ОтветитьI've known about AFL.
But it isn't a regular thing in the USA.
BUT, AFTER THE LATEST " NFL PRO BOWL " ?
I'm just loosing interest.
So now, I am checking out this league.
I already Love the natural physical playing style.
Being that live in Cleveland, Ohio.
We have semi amateur league.
The Cleaning Cannons.
It'll be easier to see A live game to get a better grasp of the scoring.
Handball is not unique to AFL, Gaelic football also have hand passes either with an open palm or a fist.
ОтветитьNow I know what watching football feels like for Europeans lmao
ОтветитьAFL is the most underrated sport in the world. The only surprising thing I didn't know was that the father of AFL was the former cricketer 🏏🏏 Greeting from India
ОтветитьFascinated by the stamina of the athletes and of how spectacular the game looks!
Ответитьwuuuuttt
ОтветитьGo the crows!!
ОтветитьEverything in Australia reminds me of the duckbill platypus
That aside my only issue here is kicking the ball between some sticks is just kinda an anti-climatic ending. Doesn’t electrify me like an acrobatic catch in the endzone or busting through a wall of humanity to score.
LOVE AFL💗
