In german Dub Renamon is a male digimon 😄

Renamon's right. And here's why:

Data, even in real life, is highly malleable, and not only digimon, but their whole world is all made out of data. That means a new digimon can be made out of the ground they walk on if they have to. So if they have no need to for mating, they have no need for the organs associated with it. And with no sexual organs, they have nothing to define their gender.

I guess Renamon was right Digimon aren’t divided into genders

But digimon are made of collecting data from human world, maybe in this data there is the code for gender and sex

I always took this as all Renamon are female, like all angewomon are female, so there is no distinction of actual gender

Well technically fox spirits do not have a gender besides it does not matter anyway renamon is a bad ass

Well that just raises more questions than answers, for starters what does anything Renamon says even matter if everything in this show gets retconned for all the Digimon shows that came after Tamers?

Because they are digital beings I think they can choose which gender they want to be. Or just lean close to either one without fully fitting the bill.

Its actually quite simple. They're not separated by gender. A renamon is a female But they digivolve into a different gender. It may be a male one day. Then a female the next. They have no specific gender. Check your evolution scale. They turn into males an females.

Sigh..... Okay everyone SHUT UP. The genderless rule only applies to season 3, or Tamers. So please stop bitching.

Call me crazy, but I think this scene has a hint that Rika and Renamon are lesbians with each other.
