ОтветитьAmazing result! Hard work paid off. Congratulations!
ОтветитьWell done, that a good idea. Congratulations
ОтветитьWell done!
ОтветитьCongrats to your performance. Loved the journey. And looking forward to more
ОтветитьCongrats on an excellent first hit out!
I didn’t finish but it was such an excellent day.
If you’re in NSW or are happy to travel the Husky Tri Festival (Big husky in Feb) is excellent, heaps of events up to 70.3 distance over 3 days. Though anything run by Elite Energy tends to be great. Excellent atmosphere to rival (but not quite top) Port Mac. Western Sydney 70.3 is good, flat, so definitely a PB course (roads are horrific in places though, worse than Port by a long stretch) and hopefully being in September now will be less harsh than the old November date. I’ve heard if you’re after a great ‘destination’ race Cairns is excellent. If you’re looking for a real bike challenge I’d reckon the new 70.3 in Tasmania is going to be king.
Wow you smashed this, you should be proud of those efforts! Congratulations
Ответитьwell done, great time for first ironman 😁. my buddy did the same one finishing in 10.18. he ran a 3.23 of the bike
Ответитьmateeee you're such a good story teller! Keen to see where this channel goes!
Ответитьwas the september 70.3 u were thinking of Western sydney 70.3? I'll be there! (Might not be in as good shape cuz im keen for a small break but ill be there for sure!)
ОтветитьGreat result mate, and I think you’ve nailed the improvement opportunities too - breakfast, more swim endurance (long intervals) and holding your TT position- great run to close it out, very consistent.
ОтветитьGidday Lachlan. I came past you on the first lap of the bike past the golf course and told you I was a subscriber :). You didn't look good at that point to be honest which you confirmed in your post race report. Good on you for not panicking and pulling it back together. That was a great run you did and a impressive debut all-round . It's a long day and a lot can go wrong, but, also a lot can go right as well which you proved. It was great seeing you on course and I gave you a shout out when you went past me on the run as well. I loved how much you enjoyed it as I feel exactly the same way about triathlon even now at the age of 51. I'm stoked you had a good day. See you next year mate. I'll keep following your channel. Cheers Craig
ОтветитьCongratulations on a great time. It was my first full IM too. 10hr 58m33s the crowd was amazing! I had similar issues on the bike with a sore back and the headwind heading back to Port Mac where my power went bye bye but I relaxed and recovered a little to finish the bike feeling good again. I missed my mara goal time by 5 mins but I loved the run so much because of the crowd and because I knew I would beat my overall goal time of sub 11hrs. I've seen a few of your videos too great content. thanks.
Ответитьwell done mate! I saw you before we started the swim. How good was the atmosphere, loved it!
ОтветитьNice work mate. I saw you out on the run and called out to you and we high fived each other. I had similar back problems as well. It started at the 100k mark and I had to ride out of the saddle to stop it spasming.
ОтветитьWell done!
ОтветитьWell done bro. I got my first one in Cairns this Sunday!
ОтветитьIt's that real 2 hours and 53 minutes it's that is 180km
ОтветитьThanks for sharing!
