Listening to this audiobook made me stop and think about how unbearably horrible it would be to be kept as a mother and have my children stolen away from me after they were born. And yet, this is what we do too many animals without considering the cruelty we are inflicting on the mothers, often over and over again. We call it factory farming.

Suspense from beginning to end, the ending was a twist I never saw coming!
