I have a brother with Schizophrenia positive symptoms. Two years ago I had to call mental health services as he was having delusions of a kid putting an evil eye cruse on him. And he was close to commit an act of homicide. He spent 3 months in a psychiatric ward.

Western medicine is like a dystopian nightmare. All over the world for millennia, cultures have existed with a knowledge of and relationship with the spirit world. They don't call it psychosis, they just communicate with people who have died. Millions of people all over the world experience this every day. Little toddlers, talking to their sister who died. Mediums and medicine people, it's not a big deal. It's super creepy to deny that it exists, then gaslight people who exhibit all the signs of spirit influence. They are told all their lives that the things they hear and see are delusion, and that there is something wrong with their brain. The negligence is miindblowing.

The Buddha proclaimed that all perceptions in and of this realm are all delusion based and grounded in ignorance.

I personally feel that schizophrenia and hundreds of other so called ‘mental illnesses’, as promoted in DSM are fictitious clinical inventions.

The world view of Psychiatry is highly conceited. It pedestals the perceptions of a Medical practitioner as the correct view and the only view of anyones mind state, which is not only taking liberties but is a definite form of FASCISM

Listening to the symptoms, 'stress' or 'being on the spectrum' can fit just as well for 'outbursts'. Also, the modern way of diagnosis is 'tick the box' without establishing whether the symptom/behaviour was present before they prescribed drugs. A hell of a lot of 'progress' of our civilisation has been due to people who will take an idea and 'run' with it. Not necessarily returning to, or remembering the original question.

I want a PET scan and an EEG scan before I agree to take meds. They've been giving me pills for it but it makes me sleepy. I can't be vigilant when I'm asleep. Plus pills don't cure it, and they don't address the underlying problems. If this is me, then I wanna be able to manage myself. 😢

My brother has been experiencing several of these symptoms over the past few years and is still undiagnosed. I am encouraging my family to get him tested but I have a question for those familiar with or experiencing schizophrenia.

Does this behavior sound like it could be a symptom:

My brother grew up playing soccer from a young age and became a phenomenal soccer player. He played varsity throughout hs and also his freshman year of college until his mental health declined at which point he dropped out of school. Several years passed and he started to play recreationally with me and various adult teams. However now when he plays it is like all of the wires in his brain are crossed and he does strange things like runs away from the ball when he is in defense, runs in circles around the field, tries to make attacking runs when he is supposed to be actively defending, purposefully scoring on his own goal, and yelling at his teammates to push up during penalty kicks. None of this may make any sense to people who don’t play soccer but it’s essentially made it where every team he plays on gets confused and pissed off at him and he gets his feelings hurt. He also has the delusion that he can try out for a pro team when he literally is so bad now that an 8 year old would do better. It is heartbreaking to watch but I am wondering if this is an example of a schizophrenic delusion or impaired thinking? I don’t know what else it could be.

I am writing this from a Psychiatric Hospital. I have love for everyone and mean you no fear.

After my last manic episode, which ended with me unable to think of anything but killing myself. I went to a general hospital and was given 2x promethazine.

I went home, slept and awoke to the devil. I defeated the devil but he turned into Jesus, I wasn't gonna settle for that and questioned him. It turns out he was the devil in disguise, oh yes he was, the devil in disguise.
With the two foes defeated, I was then able to formulate an improvement on religion that I have no fear, could actually save us all. Just say it like it is. That's what my therapist said. Some of the staff also think they know who I am, and I know I have one mammoth task ahead of me.

I have no fear

Dr Tracey, I had a dream of becoming a secret agent for MI6 like James Bond because I fell in love with the character since I was a boy and I feel the secret service of my country is watching everything I do. I take antipsychotics till now and numerous people in Syria dejected what I told them, but I feel everything is happening to me is arranged and part of a mischievous plan. Is this psychosis or schizophrenia. I don't see or hear things, but this idea is always present, that everywhere I go and everything I do is watched by the secret service

So called “psychiatrists” try and diagnose you in 15 minutes time which is insanity in itself. I think it’s why people reach out to others for help online. Based on my own experiences with psychiatrists they hear a few key terms like depression and anxiety and already have a medicine in mind they are eager for you to take so they can make money off it.

I have weed induced schizophrenia, my psychosis never had hallucinations but severe paranoid delusions. Super glad i'm on antipsychotics, they keep my life in order and keep me sane. I have a really good support network who got me to seek mental and medical help even though I was 100% convinced I was sane and telling the truth about my delusions.

I’ve been diagnosed with schizoaffective, bipolar type. (Schizophrenia with bipolar disorder). I take Seroquel and Geodon and these meds keep me stable. However, because of my gastritis, it’s hard to have a high calorie meal with the Geodon. Therefore, my mood has not been the best as of late. Overall, these meds are more tolerable, in my opinion, than other options like Abilify and Zyprexa.

Thank you for explaining , as i understand ive read or heard a qoute similar to this saying "the way a crazy person and a genius think is similar the difference is a genius is well aware of he is doing and a crazy person is not aware or in control ", schizophrenia is even worse now that its been explained its no control over the mind or body at all. And i thought being able to think out of the box plans or imagine/visualize things,or self talk ,self analysis and being able to see patterns or lines when listening to music(synesthesia)was already crazy

What I appreciate the most about this video is that there is no music. Music causes people to subconsciously judge information as more or less true based upon the emotional quality of the music. It’s good to receive information dry like this.

I used to " go away" when I was in my late teens, early 20s. Some have told me your eyes are open, but no answer. 2 have said it was as if I was talking in code. Emotional blunting too.
Im 63 now, & retired. Too much time to reflect on the childhood chaos. Alot of clarity ( SA) has happened, but it makes me sad knowing that survival from my dad limited me in adulthood. I dont have money for treatment besides these informative videos.
My dad was diagnosed schizophrenic.

Have you ever experienced them?
Or does what you read or are told to believe drop the hammer on your final judgement for diagnoses?
