There was another version that aired on nick in the 90s. it was on oh yeah cartoons, kablam or all that or something. same plot and characters, the dog and cat got all the love and the hamster and lizard were forgotten. but halfway through the lizard and hamster thought about what they lacked and so they came up with an idea where the lizard decided he would lick the humans face like the dog did every morning to earn that love, and the hamster would cuddle them like the cat or something. so the lizard went first, and went to licking the dad and jarring him awake, causing him to beat the lizard with a tennis racket as he got up, mistaking the hamster, who didn't make it on the bed, for his slipper. It ended with a totally different ending with the lizard now scarred with tennis racket cuts and the hamster with his mouth stretched to his feet, unable to talk anymore, were chained in their cage to a treelimb outside by the dad, who made the dog guard the two forever

Never saw this cartoon, Gary is such a great artist.

Oh wow I didn’t think they did this earlier. I remember the kablam pilot version back in 1997.

So far, this is the second Louie N' Louie cartoon. I never saw this one on air like the first one, which it was a pilot on Kablam!. In the first one, their adversary is a non-anthropomorphic dog named Rex who the entire family love and they hate the Louies. In this one, their adversaries are an anthropomorphic dog named Bubbles and an anthropomorphic cat named Scruffy who hate the Louies. They should have another cartoon where Louie the Chameleon and Louie the Hamster reunited with the 16 other Louies because Louie the Chameleon is Louie XII and Louie the Hamster is Louie XVIII.
