Am I the only one who finds the 360 front end repulsive especially when compared to other Ferraris

They are both perfect - I would go for the F355 with a gated manual stick out of emotional attachment growing up in the 90s

The 355 just never excited me. It's not ugly by any means, but the look just never did it for me. I much prefer the look of the 360, plus you'll actually get to drive the 360 since the 355 will probably be in the shop.

355 is going to cost you a lot more to maintain.. but it sounds better.. the 360 is a "modern" ferrari.. and if you get it in stick you will only be paying for minor things expect maybe a belt every 4-8 years or 30-40k miles (dont listen to ferrari, they want you to swap the belt out twice a year it's madness and not necessary) I Drove a 355 Spider, and LOVED the gated shifter, I had a 360 modena and messed up getting the F1

The 355 is just gorgeous and sounds exactly the way a Ferrari should. The 360 is a better car though.

Taking account of the sizeable price difference for low mileage manual specs I think the 360 is the better purchase. But if money isn't an issue then the 355 is the more Iconic car....though the 360 is ageing exceptionally well imo.

The maintenance 👨‍🔧 is so much on these older cars but so worth it 😂😂😂😂 this guy has so many Porsches a true collector

360 is a dream car of mine. Specially in Tour de france blue. I will own it in a few years. Will come back to this comment when that happens!

It is kind of the same story with the 456 and the 612 Scaglietti. The difference is that you can not realistically get the 612 with the gated stick shift (or only if you pay a huuuuge premium) so in this case it would be the 456 for me.
But you can get the 360 with a stick shift so I would go for the more modern better driving one.

But anyhow I think they are all fantastic even withut the gated shifter and as long as you can afford them there really is no wrong choice here.

This styling comparison would not be complete without also including the 550M and 575M, for some V12 examples. The 575M Maranello considered the modern equivalent of the 60's 275 gtb.

Even for Magnus this has to be a bucket list day, pair of NA Ferrari V8s with a manual and that scenery on those roads.

Please put the stock "Starfish" wheels back on the 360. They are perhaps the greatest alloy wheel design of all time. And they're 18s, so the ride will be better ("Sport Mode" in a 360 is very crashy).

360 all day long. Aged better, more advanced, no engine out and looks sensational.

I love Magnus Walker's reviews. He is very inciteful of a car's history and describes how the car drives with such a calm demeanor explaining the differences between with a certain delicacy. A wizard of a car enthusiast!!! Consider me a Walker fanboy.

The first car that I drove was my uncle's 1952 Willys. So a great car. By the way, I never used the transmission (I was 9 years old). (Edit: nice cars but I have to problems with them : 1st: money 🤣🤣, 2nd : too wide and low for my country and the roads where I love to drive. My best options will be: Suzuki Cappuccino, Mazda Miata, Fiat 500 Abarth, Suzuki Swift SPORT (we can buy them new in my country), Peugeot 206RC, Renault Clio SPORT, a Mini... all the small cars of that kind. By the way, I have two Ford Super Duty, a GMC Yukon GMT400 and a 1988 Monte Carlo LS, and on those roads, I prefer my 2018 Suzuki Alto 800, not fast, but really fun to drive "fast" on those kind of roads, because its 1.49m wide. By the way, the Alto 800 is a 0.8l 47hp car, and a really "organic" car, so you can feel and listen everything (transmission, tires, suspension, steering, engine, brakes), for me, fun is not going fast 😁😁, is enjoying everything about driving ). In the flesh I’ve never seen a better proportioned car than the 355, it’s so pretty and clean looking with just the right amount of flare and aggression.

Maintenance and replacement of the brass valve seats on the 355 makes ownership of this car disgusting

The 360 was always the ugly sister compared with the 355 maybe better mechanically faster and easier to live with but definitely coming second on the looks department
