I served on a WW2 LST (Landing Ship, Tank) in the western Pacific back in the 1960's, it was 99 X 15 meters (326 ft X 50 ft.), with a crew of 100. Our berthing compartment was 2.73 meters by 6.07 meters (9 X 20 ft.) and had 5 stacks of 3 bunks for 15 men, right underneath the main deck. Living and working conditions were HELLISH in the tropics, food was poor, water tasted like it came from a public swimming pool, but the thing that made it bearable was the constant adventure of moving from obscure port to obscure port (and some really cool ones) and getting onshore liberty almost everywhere we went as we were a working ship and always busy. Comparing my LST to your ship would be like comparing a row boat to a yacht. Very impressive vessel and very interesting tour and channel...cheers and a hearty thanks to your company for permitting you to make these videos.
Ответитьi would love to see the look on his face when he eats a tyrkisk peber thinking it's a toffee
ОтветитьWhere do you Wash your clothes is there a laundry
ОтветитьPaying for magnums awful on my ship there free
ОтветитьDid anyone else notice when he was panning the camera over the books and movies in the library, they had a copy of “Captain Phillips” to watch on movie night? Not sure if that’s considered part of the crew’s entertainment or a training film….lol
ОтветитьI'd love to jump on that boat and work
ОтветитьI loved this video, great to see how you guys live at sea.

ОтветитьI've been in countless conference rooms on LPG ships for pre transfer meetings lol. Never been on a vessel for a meeting where they didn't offer food or beverages. Every single merchant mariner from overseas I personally encounter have been the most professional and courteous people I have ever worked with.
ОтветитьWhy was nobody on the bridge driving the boat??
ОтветитьGood evening sir myself Sathish a final year student of Naval architecture and ocean engineering. Is there recruitments in the company, can please the needful information.

ОтветитьIhr englisch bzw ihre Aussprache ist so gruselig, meine Ohren und die Gehörgänge bekommen Kniefieber und Trommelbruch
Ответить“Monkey Island” It would make a killer name for a strip club.”All woman waiting with their hot monkey love here on MONKEY ISLAND”.
ОтветитьI am hearing impaired. It is VERY difficult to hear you clearly with all the background noise. What you are saying is important. Getting a better microphone would make your videos much better to understand
ОтветитьI work for one of the big 3 gaming companies (not allowed to say which) and I used to be a CSA (“phone drone”) before my current role and I remember getting a call from a navy crewman (idk which role but he was like a soldier) serving on a Royal Navy ship who wanted to play online with his friends both on the ship and back home , spent ages going from crew member to crew member until I got through to the IT guy, as their communications system was so strange and complicated & the console kept failing connection tests. Fixed it eventually but was a fun call, definitely.
Ответитьis your ship the one that got stuck in suez canal for weeks.? ha
ОтветитьThis might be an ignorant question but why was nobody at the bridge? The ship looks to be moving.
ОтветитьNo hard 🍻 only Lassie,
ОтветитьMan your great tours, along with your undeniable charisma and good attitude is such a pleasure to watch. Thank you.
