3 Boredom Busting Art Activities to help focus their minds

Boredom is not such a bad thing. In fact, it's really important for an artist to be bored some of the time. But sometimes you also need an activity that helps focus the mind.

In this tutorial I demonstrate 3 art activities that you can teach to your students or young ones at home - each one uses simple techniques to produce exciting designs to help alleviate boredom.

This is perfect as starter activities for art lessons or as extra work for those who completed the lesson a little too early. Likewise these drawing activities work brilliantly at home, in sketchbooks or even restaurant tables!

Fun fact - the inspiration for this video was when my best friends came to my house for New Years. There was a wonderful moment when all their young family members were busy working away at these activities, while all the adults caught up and shared old stories. It was so lovely to see everyone in a room together, fully engaged and without a phone or tablet in sight.
