Using PanPastels with Stencils in an Art Journal

Perfect for Valentine's Day, Carolyn. Those pan pastels are so yummy.

Still laughing from "fancy Kleenex." This is simply gorgeous. And I thought I was over-hearted this year! Guess not.

Which colors of pan pastels would you recommend someone new to art journaling start with...they are expensive and really don't want to purchase a bunch that I won't use.

I love your project. Have a few question how are you going to seal so the pan-pastels don't Smear ? I saw a video that said you should use a spray fixative when moving on to another medium from pan pastels ?

I use my PanPastels far to rarely because of this whats and ifs. I tend to use them as an only medium, what's a shame. Watching your recent videos where you use them a lot with mixed media I defenetely will give it a go. Thanks for always encourage me with your work.
