Unless it is a higher grade prolapse, sex is not painful for people who have pelvic organ prolapse.

Think about it as pushing the organs back into their anatomical positions!

It is important to note that after sex you may feel symptomatic but that is just because of fatigue!

The degree of botherson does not always correlate with the degree of the prolapse!

So... Dont be be afraid to have sex if you have a pelvic organ prolapse, just remember to rest in that recovery position after!
