They are fast, but they dont seem to recognize thrests from above.
ОтветитьThat's how fast Spiderman moves.
ОтветитьGood spider. Eats poisonous spiders
ОтветитьI woke up with a wolf spider bite. Must have rolled over on it in my sleep. Do NOT mess with wolf spiders, because the rash was so itchy it was unbearable, and I would sweat bullets after the slightest exertion for months.
ОтветитьI had a mate who's girlfriends brother knew this bloke who had his finger bitten right off by one.
You be careful mate.
they are harmless, i have a few around the house and they won't even let me catch them, they run really fast.
ОтветитьAwesomeness! I think my Apt needs one of those! Since they'll kill Black Widows and Brown Recluses! Thanx for sharing!
ОтветитьI find these spiders stuck in my shop sink in my basement all the time. I use an paper towel tube, closed at one end, corner them, the crawl into the tube and I scope them out and let them go.
ОтветитьSpiders are cool. I always try to befriend them. Especially the little tiny spiders
ОтветитьOn a work site there was one that insisted on staying on the piece of wood I unscrewed to gain access somewhere. It was combative but didn't try to bite. I found out it had a huge nest right there. It stayed there during all my work looking at me and repositioning to have the best view on me. When I was done I was extra careful putting back everything together while not hurting it and destroying the nest it put hours building. When I was done I reached with my finger and I swear to god it reached and touched gently my finger. This was 2 days ago and I think about this a lot.
ОтветитьI love spiders
ОтветитьSitting downstairs, had a 2" Wolf Spider jump through the open door and stop in the middle of the room. A few feet from me. Suddenly, one about TWICE that size comes darting out from under the couch, between my feet, to confront the smaller spider. I caught the bigger one and took him upstairs to show the GF. You could hear him scrambling about inside of the tupperware container I had it in. Close to 4" . I let it go outside. My entomology friend at work said it was a mating ritual and they were about to have HUNDREDS of babies in my house. 😲 (I still don't mind the little ones.)
ОтветитьALL of GOD critters, EXECPT man prefer living above fighting
Ответить"Where'd he go?" I tell you where, to your bedroom under your pillow so when you lay down he will eat your face off.
ОтветитьJust like the big one living in my window!
ОтветитьSpiders are misunderstood, they're not aggressive in nature like people seem to believe. In most cases they'll run before they bite and if they bite then they were probably really spooked or provoked to do so that even goes for larger arachnids like Tarantulas, I have 4 of them and never been bit and have been keeping them for years.
Ответить2 feet per second is how fast they move! When you factor that in with the size being just a couple inches that's lightning fast!
Ответитьfirst off the title alone NOPE not gonna happen. first time seeing one was in my dads shed. i moved a shovel and it darted so fast i thought it was mouse.
ОтветитьTheir eyes glow green at night when I shine a spotlight across the yard. I estimate that there is one every 2 square feet. I have never been bitten by one and I just let them be.
ОтветитьWe have lots of them in NJ. They have a nasty bite BUT it is very rare they will bite you. Unless you corner them or just keep messing with them. I've held many of them and ha e never been bitten.
And please don't kill them. They eat a lot of the bugs that bother us. Flys, gnats, mosquitoes, etc. They won't mess with you if you don't mess with them
They have these in FL. I always used to leave them alone.
Ответитьone went underneath the couch the other day when i was cleaning the living room. I don't know what happened to it
ОтветитьIn an alternate universe, Joe loses his index finger.
ОтветитьI make pets if them. They're smart.
ОтветитьEww a human
ОтветитьI was loading wood into a truck bed and looked down at my chest and there was a huge wolf spider on my chest , I just brushed him off, thought nothing of it,and then about 2 minutes later about 15wolf spiders attacked me, with the most crazy growling I've ever heard biting me repeatedly about the head and neck area until I passed out and woke up in the hospital a month later not being able to walk and having facial ticks and constantly drooling! I couldn't believe it!! Aahh just kidding 😂
ОтветитьI have alot of wolf spiders and black and brown widows around my house. I have seen several wolf spiders killed and eaten by widows. I think the widows are still queen of the jungle.
ОтветитьWe need to keep wolf spiders around. They know we are to big to eat, and eat things that are harmful to us.
ОтветитьWe have one that likes to cuddle
ОтветитьI'd say you just leave it alone 😊
ОтветитьI rememner one guy got bit in the face by one. His side of his face swoled up like a giant pimple it was crazy!
ОтветитьWe don’t look like their prey, so unless we impinge on their comfort, they won’t bother us. I like spiders, but not well enough to put up with a little one tap dancing on my eardrum. I had to wash him out with a syringe.
ОтветитьI want the video of it reaching out to touch you!
ОтветитьDid anyone else count 9 legs on that spider???
ОтветитьNot faster than a shot from my Eliminator bug spray.
ОтветитьI had one in the basement, big, and it cleaned out all the crickets. Startled me when I came out of the shower though
ОтветитьWolf spiders are intelligent, as spiders go. They are related to jumping spiders.
ОтветитьThe only thing faster than a wolf spider is ME running away from it.
ОтветитьTheir first instinct is to flee, but if you touch them again they will most of the time try to jump on you and attack. especially if you corner it or chase it.
ОтветитьI was waiting for the jump scare.
ОтветитьThat's not a wolf spider. That's a grass spider.
ОтветитьI suggest you dont touch a Black Mourning Spider. Those things don't mess around and are so big they live in caves.
ОтветитьI was outside bare foot and noticed one on the ground. Paid it no mind because of how docile they are. As kids we would make pets out of them. Just toss in crickets. Well I must have done something because a bit later the top of my foot looked like a blister filled with fluid under the skin. Found the bite mark, between toes, . . is pretty clear. No pain for the bite, just itching and a long wait for the swelling to go away.
ОтветитьI'll take your word for it
ОтветитьMy kids would catch them and take them outside to protect them from the cats. Their mom would call for the kids if she saw one.
ОтветитьThe lesson of the wolf spider: Don't fight if you don't need to.
ОтветитьTried to pet one Today Down by the Creek Behind my house....lol...he said Nope.
ОтветитьI could do the same thing with my steel toed boot.
ОтветитьBeautiful 😍
