Anyway, If you can do a play a long to "Galactic Funk" by Casiopea, that would be GREAT. They're a Japanese Fusion band from the 70s and they're amazing and I can't find a transcription anywhere

when your thumb goes over the top of the fretboard are you actually playing that note on the E string

takes time to master that not everyone plays with a pick
It gives you a different tone and your speed is greater I like using a pick it gave me more freedom
To have whole songs played with tab is a gift thank you for sharing your talent
This is my 6th year playing bass no experience of music before in a band and enjoying it
I am in my own world when I pick up my bass

Any tips for someone who actually plays guitar and only switched to bass cuz my college band needed a bassist?

Too bad the music notes couldn't gently scroll along...rather than abruptly repositioning on the screen for each line....its a bit crazy to follow for sight reading.
