Hi Mat, Can you add a translation of the fuel consumption on the screen during your car tests. You always say miles/gallon, which we don't use. Better if you also mention litres/10km.

What I don't get about these models with 7 seats is why isn't the third row of seats able to slide backwards or forwards a bit depending on your needs, I mean you have space to spare in the back. Let's say you have 6 passengers, full grown adults, and no need for luggage space, it would make all the difference if the seats slides back and give some more leg room.

I’ve had the XC90 T8 with Google since April. It’s been back to replace the communication system already as the Google infotainment is very hit and miss. Recently given the cold weather I’ve also found out that below 1°C that the TMobile sim drops out with Google indicating it’s offline rendering google maps useless. During cold weather I get intermittent issues, not that they prevent me from driving, but that are inconvenient and required reboots from the home button. For example I press cruise control and get LIM, or I get pilot assist and have to reset it. Lane assist is intermittent below 1°C as well. I contacted Volvo to ask for advice and I’m still waiting.

That man talking a crap about new upgrades on 2024 model. I have the 2023 model and there are just minor upgrades you can simply ignore.

I just sold my T8 XC90 it was an ok car but no where near the quality of the range rover I had before it. Had it 18 months on a 21 plate and it was a bit basic and the ride a bit rough on air suspension, and the build low end certainly not worth the money they ask for the car.

They all have Android Auto, too - the review is wrong in this regard.

Ah the XC90 the SUV which I see oh so often parked taking up two places.

No SUV is good for environment. They require raw materials to manufacture and go against the main three things for fuel efficiency. Aero, roll resistance and weight.

If you cant afford Range Rover this is the only other option which exudes class. All the German competitors are nouveau riche and brash.

I recently watched a different review for this car from the USA, it described the car as having Android Auto as well as the Apple system, thought that was strange as you mentioned that Android isn't an option? 🤔 Also apparently there's supposed to be a booster seat in the middle on the back row? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not sure if there's different things in different models perhaps? Yeah Going electric is better for volvo. This small overcomplicated 4 Cylinder Twincharged hybrid nonsense made them pretty unreliable. where i'm from you gotta be stupid to even consider this over a Japanese rival.

I believe the B5 diesel has been discontinued; I am not convinced that the B5 petrol mild hybrid as the only non-PHEV engine option is a great decision by Volvo, as it's far too thirsty. Meanwhile, used B5 diesels are selling like hot cakes. QED.

The Q7 might have a smoother suspension setup but it's absolutely hideous. 😂

HI Matt, When you do a review and talk about the ISO-fix in a car. Please can you cover how many ISO-fix points there actually are. With a family with 4 kids all 7 and under this is a massive point for us. Hence us having a Q7 which 6 ISO-FIX points. HOw easy is it to get the car seat in the middle for 3 wide, can they fit in the very back etc etc. Thank you
