Was a hairdresser for 3 decades and all these products work fantastic! Have any other suggestions for me to use?? Hum…… maybe a few drops of leave in oil, highlights, color roots every 6 weeks. Highlights twice a year. I do all myself at home with e-salon color . BIGEN BLEACH. 20 vol. dev . 30 minutes

Ok, I am 67 years old and my hair has been set with 4 rows of perm rods and sat under a hair dryer for several hours only for it to be flat as a board in 3 hours and no I didn’t fiddle with it afterwards to cause it to straighten out. I use VIORI bar shampoo and conditioner and my hair is down to my waist for the first time in my life. Previously it would reach my bra strap and then just start falling out by the hand fulls. For many years I have not used any heat styling tools to protect my very fine hair from damage. I started using a flat iron on the top shorter 4 to 5 inch length portion to gain a tiny bit of lift. I am going to attempt curling my hair and hopefully you have come across with the information I need to actually have the beautiful curls I have so loved for. On a positive note, my hair had a few grays in it and when I found VIORI (please Google search it) it is utterly amazing and has thousands of 5 star reviews. It not only strengthened my hair so it is now down to my waist but not one new gray hair but multiple hairs growing in that are extremely dark and what I would say is very curly almost krinkly hair. If it hadn’t have happened on my own head, I honestly would have thought that has to be fake but I assure you is definitely not! My childhood friend was my hairdresser for years and I would go to him every Christmas to try to get that ONE NIGHT for a very special party curly hair. My husband finally said honey stop paying for nothing and Asa agreed. I am praying you prove them both wrong! But I will post the results either way. Probably not tomorrow but possibly for Thanksgiving 😁

My curls last a couple of hours with unholy amounts of hairspray. Literally. I did my hair for a wedding and it was straight again before I even got to it (just time to do the makeup and get there). Had to wash my hair 6 times to get rid of the hair spray, and it didn't even got rid of everything. Hopefully this video will teach me something new lol

I have really really really frizzy naturally wavy/loose curly hair, the hair is so frizzy that my whole hair style has no shape, just a blob of big mess, the wave/curls dont form into strands, and they dont curl the same way everyday, and some curls are irregular. I don't wash it everyday, i dont blow dry, i dont heat style, I dont know its me not doing something correctly to make my hair more manageable, or my hair js just way, if so, what should i do to it?

You guys touted Olaplex but there is a lawsuit on it. Doubt if Olaplex is anything great! It's just a product hair stylists use to steal your money saying that they use it on your hair.

Do you have a video that talks about going to bed day 1 and waking up without bed head and weird crinkles from the scrunchie so I can enjoy day 1’s efforts? I don’t like to sleep with my hair down so I always secure it - usually one of the phone cord “elastics”, but I wake with the “bump” or I’ve pulled out the styling. How does one revive the do from the previous day without brushing it out? Hope that makes sense!

I disagree. You say the hair must always be wrapped away from the face? I agree with the face frame area, but after that i variate back and forth with the direction of the curls to create a more natural look. (One section clock wise around the wand, next section counter clockwise around the wand). Otherwise all the curls are going the same direction and in my opinion doesn't look good.

Also- you forgot the simplest trick. You don't let the curl just fall off the iron. As you said, the hair is STILL hot and will fall a little bit. Instead of letting the curl "fall" off the iron and loosen to the shape gravity gives it, let it "fall" into your hand until it cools or take the time to pin it. When it cools, let it go and you will see the curl has not only held it's shape, but is further locked in with heat no longer affecting it's shape.

All amazing! But the thing that ruins my hair is sleeping. Would you do a video about maintaining hairstyle when you sleep on curly hair? I end up knotted. Yes, I have a buff, but I tend to take it off when sleeping. I would love to get some suggestions. Thanks!

I was taught to start a curl from the root and work toward the end, ending up with a set similar to wet rollers that you then brush out after it sets. Is that also bad? It seems like it would still get a lot of heat on the ends.
Also! What are your thoughts on ‘midrange’ shampoos- not professional quality, but something you’d find in a Target’s fancy hair aisle? I know drugstore shampoo is terrible, but if it doesn’t suds up the first wash, is it a decent pick? Things like Not Your Mother’s, Pacifica etc

My family all have curly hair but different types of curls, I got the shaggy look curl, one of my sisters has curls that people believed were perms, and she could never get it to curl properly and it depended on the shampoo, anytime we commented on her hair on the days it was looking well and not frizzy she said she was using fairy liquid (dish soap) and it must have been the fairy liquid that was getting it cleaner and we could tell when she was using it as her hair looked like it should have looked and it must have been removing the build-up of the things she put on her hair and as usual people didn't believe she used dish soap to remove the build up, cheapest hair shampoo/build up remover.

Hmmm I do all these tips but my hair is oily by day 2 :(

If you blow dry your hair and then curl it after, do you need to use another heat protectant even if your blow dry cream already has heat protectant in it?

Hello! What products you recommend for natural curls? I miss a lot of my beautiful mane during after COVID. I had to cut it short 😢. Before I just wash it, then a leave in, and it dried beautiful. Now I’m trying everything, still short and also the texture is dry. I used to dye it. So o don’t think is the problem or maybe part of… lol. Hmm what do you think or if someone knows. My biggest questions... what's your opinion on shampoo bars (switched from plastic bottles to bars a while back) but are they equivalent to "cheap" shampoo or "professional" shampoo? Secondly, do you recommend putting hair up somehow at night or leaving down? Mine is a little longer than shoulder length, very fine, kinda thin, never holds curl! Other than a silk or satin pillowcase, what's the best style to sleep in?

Do you add both the leave in conditioner and blow out cream to wet hair before using the blow dryer? Once your hair is dry, you add the thermal heat protectant before curling it, right? Thank you!!!!!!!!
