I loved the video but I had to keep rewinding it because you talk so fast that I could not understand what you were trying to say.
ОтветитьAwesome review. Thx bud!!
Ответитьif you want speed go with FPV, if you want durability and carefree then avatar, I gotchu my friend.
Ответитьvery helpful im going to go for the avatar
ОтветитьForward 1y... they made it backwards compatible
ОтветитьNah it does 28 mph faster.. def going with FJI FPV
ОтветитьThe avata falls every time you make a harsh turn does the fpv do the same?
Ответить...you talk to fast...
ОтветитьThe flight range of the avata is straight up awful. Wouldnt recommend it of you want to fly further than 300 meters
ОтветитьWill the fpv controller work for the ava
ОтветитьCamera on the DJI fpv is better
Ответитьthe avata flight time is more like 8 mins!
ОтветитьI just bought the FPV because of the price drop. I’ve got no desire ( at least for now ) to do bat sh_t crazy stunt flying with it but more so for just a better “feel” or experience of flight. I might buy the Avata in the future just because I can use my existing goggles and controllers with it.
Real informative video, thanks for posting it and, how much coffee did you drink before you made this ? 😁
Super helpful. Thanks Billy!
ОтветитьI use a Insta360 One X2 to film OneWheel content. I was about to blow $500 on the Insta360 X3 then I decided that the money would be better spent on a DJI drone. I know I can't use FPV safely while Onewheeling, even if I was attempting 3rd person view over my shoulder. Any amount of lag or delay would hinder my ability to perform obstacle avoidance (on my OneWheel) which could result in injury or death. In which case :Active Track" at 10-20mph should work just fine, if of course the Avata or FPV Drone has that feature.
ОтветитьYea, I'm not taking any fpv drone advice from you Mr Dronie Mc Loserton!
ОтветитьHave you got a link to that gopro mount used on your FPV? I'd like to grab one and do you notice a huge difference in flight time and flying capabilities with the gopro on there compared to without?
Ответитьnice video.. but Ill still wait for next gen.. or i'll regret it if i'd get it now just like I did on my 3080ti
ОтветитьThanks man, now I know what to buy!
ОтветитьJust grab both 😂😅
ОтветитьI think you need to brush up on your math skills :D 1/1.7 is LARGER than 1/2.3 :) resolution and bitrate is much better on the one you have on the left as well, so maybe you simply put the graphics over the wrong camera footage??
ОтветитьACRO? LOL. Build a drone and actually try ACRO. Joke.
ОтветитьThe Avata looks like the minivan of FPV drones.
ОтветитьHow are you able to record the goggles with the HUD info displayed?
Ответитьthanks for the video. answered all my questions
ОтветитьMy extra batteries are coming in tomorrow.
ОтветитьGive a drone
ОтветитьIf you bought the fpv drone to fly it slow you bought the wrong drone to begin with.
ОтветитьGreat comparison vid Billy. I am days away from getting my Avata.. so much to explore.! Can't wait
✌🏼peace..
nice sharing. thank you
ОтветитьLooks like the specs for the Avata and FPV drove when comparing the cameras are switched.
ОтветитьThe Avatar isn't a real drone.
ОтветитьI've got both, the FPV does not allow any mistakes in manual mode after a year of experience on it, all it takes is a split second to destroy it and everything on its way. The avata in acro mode gave mixed results (I know it's a cinewhoop) with propellers turning into dust instantly. On the other hand the thing can handle a 250m high dead drop from the sky without much damage. If you never flew fpv start with the Avata and many, many many hours in a simulator software. DJi FPV's are selling for $390 on eBay those days without googles or controller.
ОтветитьGood Breakdown!
ОтветитьI want to do some really nice sceneries in Ireland as I'm always out cycling and often think I wish I had a drone to film this.. so these vids are great for feedback thanks!
ОтветитьBro you are holding 3.000$ worth drones togheter
ОтветитьAvata for me:
- Googles 2 (diopter!, smaller, lighter..)
- better camera + rocksteady 2.0/horizonsteady
- prop guards
- motion controller
- 50% smaller/lighter
- cinematic capability
Speed is not that important for me...which I see as the only benefit of owning a FPV drone. Besides it is just too intimidating.
Really too bad that Avata is not a sub 250g...but one can dream though:)
With Avata, DJI literally brought two worlds together (FPV and cinematic world) which was unheard of till now.
The fun factor of Avata is insane..I am not a professional but I have owned Spark, Mavic Air (1st gen), Mavic 2 Zoom and now I'm wanting Avata to squeeze the fun factor out of my flying which is the main reason why I love drones so much...
Can you use the mini 2 remote with the Avata?
ОтветитьDJI should have introduced the Avata first. Flying the DJI FPV first made me expect more out of the Avata and I was very disappointed especially its lack of power/thrust.
ОтветитьSize is actually a big factor for me.. As I walk for 9 hours in the hills. Fits in my pack..
ОтветитьThat's fun to watch😁😁😂😂
Ответитьdurp. Avata sucks so bad
Ответитьgreat video! just what i needed to know for both of them.
ОтветитьLove my FPV
ОтветитьOutstanding video. Extremely helpful; It answered all my questions and I'm definitely getting an Avata.
ОтветитьHi there , to anyone who own Avata , I would like to ask does it come with “FOLLOW ME” mode ? I currently have mini 2 and I can have my drone to follow me when I’m running .
Since Avata is FPV require goggle to control Everytime. Are there any way to turn on Follow Me mode ?
Thx for all helping ❤❤❤❤❤
Does anyone know if you can show the MPH on number on the display when using the DJI FPV Goggles v2 using the Avata? I saw that you can see it in the DJI Goggles 2 but not the v2 goggles.
