In 2018, we released https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nWw-TDoUupG1w0pxmrVp8M1V6jO8ue8Do, an album where I pushed deeper into collaboration with voices I admired. One standout track was Typical, featuring Jordan Rakei. We’d invited Jordan and his band to play at my Wax Da Jam event in Ibiza, and after a long night, I didn’t expect to see them again the next day. But against all odds, they showed up at my place for a BBQ. Within hours, Jordan had written and recorded over my track what would become Typical. The track quickly became a major highlight of the album.

Now, we’ve asked some friends—Little Dragon, Fat Freddy’s Drop, and Children of Zeus—to reimagine the song. The result? Three incredible versions: a chilled lo-fi hip-hop vibe, a wonky pop banger, and a wild dance floor moment.
