Amazing video! Thank you for linking us to a free template! Most people talking about financial consolidation are offering their own paid spreadsheet. While I can afford $5‐$10, I feel it should be free. Thank you!

Miko, I don't know if you read these but this video changed my life! I became focused on using the template you shared here, and it took a few years but I am now debt free! I still remember watching this for the first time a few years back, and being horrified when I plugged in my own numbers and saw how much of an impact a few extra dollars a month could have in paying down my debt. Team Avalanche! I am a huge fan of yours, and can't thank you enough for sharing your system (and this excellent spreadsheet template) here, thank you for everything! If anyone is reading this and just getting started- YOU CAN DO IT!

When I hear people talk about credit card debt, I never here them mention about settlements that credit card companies offer. Some companies reduce the debt amount owed by 70% or more.

Should we take advantage of these offers? Does it some how go against us in the future or on our credit? What is your take on that?

I am so glad I found this video. Because I started watching you after you paid off your debt. I'm still paying off debt myself. Your videos are so helpful. Don't get me wrong. However, I hear you constantly saying, I'm debt free. It's important for me to see you in this stage of your life for me to be more relatable to you. When you constantly say Ryen has debt and you don't in your videos it somewhat feels like a dig, but I know it's really not. You have worked SO HARD and I appreciate your teachings so much. You are an inspiration. But I needed to see this side of your journey to see you from all angles.

I've been following you for months and bought your book. I've done a lot of work to get myself ready for my debt payoff journey but I'm so discouraged lately. I swear I get an unexpected bill for some random thing at least once a month. And it always ends up costing me $1k or more. I bought my first house last year and it was an unexpected move. These bills are often but not always related to the move in some way. I don't know how to even start saving when I'm always trying to cover these big unexpected bills that come up way too regularly. I have FOUR jobs (one full time and 3 part time) and I'm a single mom of two with hardly any help. It's just so discouraging 🥺. I want so bad to get ahead. Seems the more I take on to do that, the more the universe throws at me. I can't even put away $100 for savings or emergency. "You either have an income problem or a spending problem". I don't have an income problem and it's not a spending issue. I've already cut everything that can be cut since starting my journey. Do you have any advice on how to start saving when this keeps happening?

Super late to the game here. Has anyone tried the calculator lately? I downloaded to Google sheets but it is a view only file and not editable. Thanks in advance for any help. PS I have used other calculators but wanted this one as it is the only one I’ve seen with the feature of adding extra payments in specific months.

I tried the snowball method many years ago (I'm talking before home computers and Excel) and it didn't work for me. I am a very visual person so I think because I couldn't see the progress month over month, I got discouraged. I'm excited to get started on this Excel sheet, I think it will be helpful for me because I'll be able to see my progress. On a side note, I am now working from home so I'm going to sell my car so I will be able to throw the money I was spending on the car payment towards my debt. Thankfully my son who will be in Japan for 3 years has said I can use his car while he's gone. It's paid off so I'll be paying the insurance, gas, and maintenance. And since I was already paying for those things for my car, it doesn't change what I have already budgeted for those items.
I just discovered your channel and I can't thank you enough for all you do. I'm looking forward to going through your other videos as I have time.

I am 55 years old with very little set aside for retirement at this point. I have always been curious about the stock market and have witnessed some people who played the game right and retired early because they used the stock market. When I ask them, most said that they invested very little to start with, but their portfolio grew. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns.

I am so grateful that my sister told me about you!! Someone please help... So with the spreadsheet, what if you have a zero percent credit card. I WILL pay it off before I get charged for all the interest. How do I incorporate that into my spreadsheet? or should I leave it off and once paid off add that payment to the "additional" column?

That was me. I got debt free a decade ago. I was even in a national magazine commemorating this achievement. I then fell back into debt because I lost my way. The high and focus of getting out of debt was lost and I got lazy. The moment you think, “I got this” quickly realize, I don’t. Emergencies and then depression spending took it all down. I’m now working it again. I also need my plan of how I stay out and grow wealth.

I love the vertex42 spreadsheet. It helped me 12 years ago and is helping me again now.

I was recouping from a car accident. A relative used my credit cards ran up to the limit, maxed all my credit cards. When I was able to check this out. I didn't charge all these cards. Had to file bankruptcy. So now I have T-Mobile after me that I didn't sign for, did not go in store and purchase phone with them. They were not on bankruptcy list The collection company called told them as I disputed with T-mobile. Do not have phone with them. it was fraud on my credit cards I didn't charge these items nor sign for a phone. Also my family member cashed a check for my car for over 15,000.00. Kept the money. Do not have money for a attorney. But for God so good i was introduce to a Mendosanonymoyshack net on google who magically make payments on my credit cards for me, the payments didn't reverse and he also fixed my credit, raising my credit score from 448 to 822, thanks to Leo, he's a helper and I can't thank him enough, contact for credit fixing and credit card payment or bank account huge money funding, they;re just so professional. Thank me later.

My spouse is a doyen. We have really done a few good on our credit reports. We have been trying to raise our scores to mid-800 his score is 519 while mine is still in the high 500’s. (I think is 536 currently.) I also have a judgement against me for a credit card. The judgement doesn’t appear anymore on my credit report, I assume because it’s over 6 years old. I’m pretty sure it didn’t just “go away”. All effort to increase my credit score and eliminate all the negative items on my report proved abortive until I saw good remarks of how this credit expert ''JOHN'' had helped people. Here is his contact Mendosanonymoushack net on google He did a monumental job by helping us raise our credit score to 826 and 814 respectively and removed all the negative items replacing them with beautiful tradelines. Just a couple of days after, we fixed agreement. Thanks am highly indebted Douglas

I had an EVICTION, JUDGEMENT and quite a number of other negative items on my report with a low 400's CREDIT SCORE. These prevented me from getting a mortgage until I starting looking for help. After he finished working on my REPORT in just 7 days, my CREDIT SCORE increased to 780, all the negative items on my REPORT were deleted permanently and he added good trade-lines to boost my credit mix (Mortgage tradelines, Installment tradelines, Revolving credit cards and Auto tradelines) on my report, I got the mortgage and that was phenomenal!
