I have a confession to make, I've been a great fan of IQ since 1984 and I didn't really like Peter Nichols' voice on the first two albums (Tales from the Lush Attic and The Wake), it seemed to me to be too immature and untrained. But now...
Starting with Ever, Nichols has learned to use it better and better and now it is one of the most beautiful male voices I know and this track proves it.

As we speak they are working on a new album now!😃

Fuck! I rode my Aprilia Pegaso motorcycle on the Road of Bones in Siberia for two times. 2010 summer and 2012 winter. The Winter one was a world record at minus 35 Celsius.
But just today I heard about this song and about this band.

An absolutely fantastic song and album by one of the best prog bands around - great 'haunting' music - guitar riffs, keyboard's, bass and, last but not least, some intricate drum fills, just awe inspiring.

This is such a great song, and yet so creepy. Serial killers work by compulsion. They often go back to the scene of the crime if not accessible by others as a form of power over their victims. Some are buried, some are under water. In the case of this song, they seem to be strewn all over a wooded area. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I know IQ music since 2003; a fantastic prog band!!

If you buy this album, be sure to get the box set/limited edition, because the bonus disc is as good as the main album, with tracks like Constellations, Ten Million Demons and Fall and Rise, which are amongst the best things they've ever done.

Terrific progressive rock band. I have listened all of their albums since the beginning and each that passes by IQ gets better an better. IQ lives for ever.

I haven't really listened to IQ since the mid 90's. My focus has been on other things. I've often found prog quite stagnant in that prog bands typically stick to "their sound". I.e, same keyboard/ guitar sounds across tracks. IQ WERE a good example of this. But, this album has really caught my attention. It's absolutely the best from them in my opinion. Really dig the personnel changes. Much more diverse now. Diggin it

The 80's prog bands were more innovative than the 90' and onwards.
Spock's Beard, Flower Kings, Transatlantic, etc. Thats RETROgressive Rock this here is true Progressive Music.
In Metal, Punk, Jazz, etc you can see evolution. In Prog everyone is stuck in the 70s except for IQ.

Now in my top 5 rock albums of all time. Epic lyrics melded perfectly with the instrumentals, every song an absolute gem, fantastic musicianship that is there only to serve the songs, incredible composition. How they're not a household name is beyond me. Perfection!
