I think Linda must have been the love of his life. If she stayed with him even when he had the haircut in the thumbnail, that was an astonishing sacrifice for her to make, lol. True love for sure.

this is so mesmerizing for me... every time i hear it, it has this sort of tranquil affect, also because i heard it when i was 5 years old... it's a rare classic that transcends the test time, they don't make them like this anymore.

Paul and Linda were the hottest couple in the industry ,in the 70s when I was little. They still impress, in my 50s now 🥁🥰

Paul's voice made me feel better about being alive when I was a baby in 1965.

My sister is 9 years older than me. When I was 4, in 1969, she would play Beetles Songs for me and had me memorize all of their names and would describe their personalities. She was 13 at this point and thought Paul was the cutest. She really had a crush on him.

I learned a lot about music from her and she’s the one who got me to learn and appreciate all of the late 1960s and 1970s music. While babysitting me on weekends, she’d bring me with a bunch of her friends to concerts in Miami, without our parents knowing. I’m sure I was the youngest person at these concerts.

She taught me how to play guitar and gave me a few lessons on the piano.

Though we had our sibling rivalries at times through our lives, I am deeply saddened, now, as she is fighting for her life with cancer at 67. It started as breast cancer and has spread throughout her body. Our parents are still alive at 92 and 95 and they’re doing well.

Listening to this song, makes me cry knowing I won’t have her for too much longer and how she suffers at times. I was hoping Sir Paul was touring because I would give my right arm to take her to to a concert of his.
