I couldnt enjoy it. Its because of the god awful combat, npcs that drop molotovs perfectly on top of your head from 50 meters away. even when you avoid those the explosion radius always sets you on fire anyway and you have to eat stimpacks like candy. Right when you are done another molotov lands on you...

I'm not sure why people like this game so much. Not just this one, FO3 and FO NV as well. Yea they are "decent" (I'm being extremely kind here), but far from great imo. I don't even want to go into absolutely asinine stuff in these games, like having a story and then first mission you get is to gather cups for some random dumbass you meet next to a first shed you see. Just lol. One of the most overrated games ever made imo, not to mention it being a bug riddled shit even 5 years after release.
What boggles the mind most is the fact that people keep supporting this half assed broken shit. All it does is hurt the gaming industry, makes them shell out more half assed shit like this for full price. And we are doing it to ourselves, propping bug riddled games like this to heights they should never ever achieve (well I'm not doing it, I like my games way too much). Worth a buy? Maybe when it's 10€... and even then I'd buy it only if I was a huge fan of FO.

For multi-purpose keys, a good way to bind them is using "Shift-1" or "Alt-1" etc, easy to press and hard to accidentally type.

The settings from skyrim are a lot better than this game. Even today there's no real graphics settings while the game 7 years ago looks like it's made after this one.

This game was such a bad game.. I loved Fallout 3, cause it made alot of things so that you would have to chose how to proceed in order to either good or bad.

This game just throw that away and there is basically no consequences for your actions.

Ofcs it was not the best game in the world, but they could have worked on it, and made it better than it.

As a Witcher, Fallout AND TES fan (CDPR and Beth fan in short), I would like to say to all those 2 year olds in the comments: Yes The Witcher games aren't perfect and so is Fallout I actually agree with his opinion about TW3 unless you truly love the Witcher series, tho I don't think FO4 is worth full price. I think it's actually a pretty good game considering how much content there is, how atmospheric it is, how good and interesting the world is, how the gunplay is pretty damn good and how much good shite is actually in this thing. Still, not in full price.

I too liked the world.
What I didn't like was:
1. Guns. Every fucking gun is a rusty pipe with some screws and super glue. It used to be real guns.
2. Voiced protagonist.
3. Story.
4. No Fallout humour for the 20-something hours I played.
5. It just wasn't fun.
6. All the technical problems, bad performance etc.
7. It didn't feel like a Fallout game.

Trailer got me so hyped and I played for some 20+ hours, but it just wasn't there. The Fallout 2 unadulterated violence, story, weapons... And 3 and New Vegas, still great games with good story lines. Fallout 4 was a dismal failure.

The fk its not even an issue, they dont collide with each other, they dont prohibit another key from doing what its programmed to do. Fallout 4 has so many other things worth complaining about and you choose multipurpse keys ? Holy fk

Damn looking back at this and having played Fallout 4 multiple times... I always get thrown off by the Minutemen and the fact they throw leadership right into your hands without even knowing you. This should've been a late game thing, the Minutemen could've been a faction exclusive to the Commonwealth that did fine in keeping the peace. When the player comes along they could've been experiencing a crisis of some kind and the player obtains the chance to step up and be a leader after a certain amount of hours/quests. With this they make the settlement system optional if you decide to step into the shoes of the leader. If not you carry on as you are, leaving Sanctuary as your own little place in the post apocalypse. The initial settlement system could've just been an interior/exterior decorator/builder system. The point being, I never wanted to be in charge of anything starting the game without even getting a proper feeling for the Commonwealth and where my character's place is in the game. Oh well...

so your big issue is multi key binding, where you have no control over key press strength. am i right, because just tapping a button is to hard. your typing skills must suck then bro.

I watched this cause I want my first fallout game to be good
