Betelgeuse is not dying. Located in rhe shoulder of Orion, It is one of God's stars, and Isaiah 40:26 tells us that He calls his stars by name and not one fails! One day soon, we will see what is really happening on this star, it is certainly not dying! One of the definitions of it's name, according to Joseph Seiss in "The Gospel in the Stars," is " The Branch Cometh." Jesus is called The Branch in Isaiah 11:1 and Jeremiah 23:5.
