Im new to plant parenting and choose the peace lilies so I'm paying attention to you and them so I can be the best nurturer

I'm really new to plants, but so far I've been able to keep mine alive for three months. I keep it in my room with an LED light that turns on an off everyday. Before this video I wouldn't think it's a hard plant to keep, honestly. You just have to remember to water it, and by water I mean dunk that plant in water every week. I don't water it more than that, but that's because it's passed it's blooming stage. When it starts to bloom I'll probably have to water it more. It's honestly a nice plant to have, and a bit of a drama queen when you're late on the watering.

Just brought home my moms fifteen-year-old Peacy Lily, and I just repotted it for the first time. And now I pray. 😂

I was gifted this. When I received it there was no blooms. Once I got it it bloomed within 2 weeks

What a great, informative video. I have 1 peace lily, my first plant. I moved it from soil to water in a glass. It's in a north-facing window with a humidifier. It's finally growing one white flower! I'm shocked. But it may also have a fungal issue on one leaf.
Is it possible that the change from soil to water caused an infection? I kept most of the roots.

If a peace lily or anthurium has brown spots on their leaves from me putting them outside when we were having a bit of spitting rain in southern California and it resulted in them getting sunburned, should I cut off the leaf or the entire stem?

I love information but those hand gestures are so obnoxious that I simply can`t hear the information for distraction, so I`m going to have to go to a different knowledge source.

Mine has some brown in it.
I took them out of the ground and loosened up the roots I did break up some of the brown but I didn't fully remove it.
It did have a ton more white roots but way smaller or very thin and extra long.
There was black roots and I removed those but it could of been the black mesh I used as a bed for mulch.
I reported it in all purpose soil from Lowes.
I put them in a much less direct sunlight.
They seem to be doing much better now it's been over 2 days.
They still look like they're having a bad hair day.
I'm not giving up on them.

When the blooms begin to drop a lot of white powder pollen, can you clip out the pollen center and leave the white bloom?

What PH should I adjust my water to? 5.8-6.2?
& what range should my ppm/ec be at? Is 500 to high?

Hi, im brand new. My gma gave me a peace lily as a gift. When you say humid do you just mean like keep the dirt damp? My plants leaves are getting droopy and its been close to a week now. In that time, ive repotted it as well as do the finger thing and its damp. Im gonna try moving it to a part of my apt with an bit less light.

We have ours in an eastern facing window and it loves it. 5 blooms currently, and ready to re-pot to a larger 18"x24" pot.

I'm so glad to have found you, you are my go to plant girl for info. I just learning a little about plants but when it come to feeding, pruning, propagating or preparing substrate for the plants I'm just a disaster.

Mine bloom non stop. You have to fertilize every time you water with 1/4 strength. I use Dyna Gro foliage pro. Mine are in a plant room with humidifiers at 65% and lights on for 12 hours led 6000K shop lights. Mine are pretty much non stop blooming from the sensation to my dominios. I have a ceiling fan and one in the doorway to give my plants plenty of circulation. Temps are from 78 to 82°

why do east facing windows change when speaking about the southern hemisphere? doesn't the sun rise there in the east too?

Do you think a peace Lilly would be ok on a north-facing covered patio for a humid continental summer?
