This video made me realize my style has been stuck in the 2010s. I already own all of these except gingham and peplums lol. Also I think dark lipstick will become more popular, people are bored with the super natural “clean girl” makeup.
ОтветитьI used to be so contrary to the general fashion that was becoming popular around me as i grew up, trends never really influenced me. Everything in this video (exept the pirate focus 😂) is something I alredy own because i bought it or cause it was given to me and i love that just know i can finally say that, if this predictions are right, I may be much more interested in what trends have to give
ОтветитьSo basically 2014
ОтветитьThe way I dont give a fuck about the trends anymore.
ОтветитьSooo we’re basically back to 2007/2008 ^^’
Ответитьplease do a fashion analysis on summer from the oc !!
ОтветитьYou're telling me 2024 is going to be FUCKING Vivenne Westwood... inspired (?)
ОтветитьBut why are they making heel heights so much lower?
ОтветитьSome of the trends are literally what I’m deeply interested in collecting for my wardrobe, and I’m very excited!! I know where to get that one pair of disco pants that looked cute on me but didn’t keep cuz of a party’s dress code— Imma return to the store lmaoo
ОтветитьI'm still comfortably leaning into the coastal grandmother/tomato girl look while throwing in some bows here and there. If I add any "trends", it'll probably be the brooch because I still have mine from the last time it was popular.
ОтветитьNo.
ОтветитьIm so excited for this trends. Spikes, charms, animal print, flannels, skulls 🖤
Ответитьdang its the year of the pirate i guess....
(i'm looking forward to it dont come after me lol)
Definitely excited for more messy chic, pirate boho, skulls, distressed clothes and flouncy shirts
ОтветитьKinda bummer that punk fashion has become the mainstream but it’s inevitable
ОтветитьEdit: oh my god we’re just doing 2010s fashion again I can’t do this again 😭
I’m 28 and seeing trends like the skull scarf that I had on in HS is surreal. Holy fuck this how my mom felt seeing me do the 80s trend in HS 😔
The one trend prediction that surprised me was bones and skulls. I understand the ways it connects with larger themes on the rise like both pirate-core and 2010’s tumblr-grunge, but also the skeleton onesie just had such a major moment 4 years ago with Phoebe Bridger’s Punisher. (I’m Thinking of both the plain onesie and all the elaborate skeleton-themed concert outfits she had).
I’d say for most people into indie music, that skeleton imagery is just so deeply connected to the beginning of the pandemic era… so it feels odd to see the imagery on the forefront of fashion trends again.
we really went straight from buccal fat removal to ethereal huh
ОтветитьSooo... Ai Yasawa?
ОтветитьAlright when are we going back to the cave people outfits?
ОтветитьAll the buccal fat removers are gonna be plump by the end of the year 😂
ОтветитьFinally ready for my Renaissance dress era.
Ответитьim ngl i dont really agree with most of ur predictions, personally i think that like darker aesthetics is gna be more prominent and also 2014 vibes
ОтветитьI’m glad this video touched on alternative styles. most of the “predictions” or trend commentary i see is mostly on street style
ОтветитьRatt lead singer wore a Pirate puffy shirt in the 80s on the "Lay it down" music video. Im a 30 year old female who love his outfit style in that video. Of course the shirt needs to be more covered for females. Im a lady who dont want to show my body parts off
ОтветитьFor me, this trend is a dream come true.❤
Edit: i really hope these predictions are legit. Im excited to walk into a store and buy that item that gives me total permission to leave the house otherworldly 😂❤❤❤❤. And not get made fun of
I believe in a puffy shirt prediction just because of Astarion’s popularity.
ОтветитьEVERYTHING CORE
ОтветитьSo exactly my clothes for years haha
ОтветитьSo the world is becoming an Ai Yazawa manga? We are going to dress like Nana, Hachi and Mikako?
ОтветитьI'll welcome pirate shirts, military jackets an victorian boots with open arms... what I had does no longer fit and or are completely worn out... Need to restock my ( dark) wardrobe.....⚰️💀🦴🦇🦇🦇.
ОтветитьWow trends move faster than ever today. Do people really buy entire new wardrobes every 6 months to a year…? I never see anyone irl wearing any of this stuff lol
Ответитьit feels so much like 2014
ОтветитьHonestly anything from 2014 because I still have most of my clothes from then 😅
ОтветитьIM SOOOOO EXCITED FOR THE RETUN OF CAT PRINT!! (also i feel like tortoise shell print is kinda in rn)
ОтветитьI remember some of these things from high school … which was 7 years ago lol. I can’t believe how quickly things are going in and out and back into fashion again.
ОтветитьI'm working on sewing beads on a skirt of mine so it's nice to hear i'll be fashionable once i get it done😂
And yall the best life hack ever i discovored at xmas is to tie the back of your clothes with a broach instead of a safety pin, it's stronger and ten times cuter!
My mom calls those boots granny boots and she LOVED to wear them as a teen in the 70s.
ОтветитьThe only trend here which I am completely comfortable leaving in the past is the bones/skeleton look........ childhood me got enough of it for a lifetime!
ОтветитьI'll finally be fashionable this year is what I hear 💅💕 lmao
Ответитьpraying for rococo style to come back
Ответитьi already see sooooo many vids abt the clean girl makeup being out and grunge makeup being in. while i don’t think trends should be taken seriously, i’m so tired of the anti acne narrative the clean girl makeup pushes
Ответитьim surprised you haven’t talked about Playboi Cartis impact on fashion recently. 0pium style.
ОтветитьOh gosh this is my era.
ОтветитьThis video it's just you describing my personal esthetic lol I guess I'm on trend now 😂
Ответитьonce again i’m already ahead of the trends 😽🤭🤭🤭
Ответитьone one hand i'm glad i'll be able to find more cool clothes in thrift shops in the coming years, on the other it's sad that political anti-consumerist subcultures get "gentrified" to the point of their statement looks becoming merely fast-fashion trends.
ОтветитьYou’ve described a lot of my personal aesthetic in this prediction… I’m finally gonna be in fashion!
Ответить
