Swordsingers, Automaton, and Slimecraw is META since beggining of game.

Also bringing back old meta would take the timer off of valkyn skoria and you would see teams be wiped by caltrops, dune ripper meta fuck that was annoying, the reso heavy attack meta talking about 30k damage against players with an un doge able resto heavy, clever alc and twice borne star stam sorc spin to win when the released hurricane, soul assault meta, this really isnt that strong in comparison to meta years past

They could make the 10% crit bonus only effect martial damage
That would make it a waisted slot for this build but than you would also get a huge reduction to self heals sooo that would probably be my move to nerf it, its not really the best tho you do more running away than killing

Look, I just want to play ESO and use what I wanna use, Skyrim style. Hell, first couple years of ESO I used only one one-handed sword and a bow (and admittedly struggled in PVP as result). Came back after year or so hiatus and while I was kicking ass before, now I'm doing good damage at best, not to mention feeling a lot squishier. Does anyone have any advice on an Oakensoul build? Really takes it outta the fight for me when I gotta go hit three buttons to have a series of buffs that are necessary to any meaningful damage.

It’s two fold one is everyone being their own healer and second they give you all the tools to negate almost all damage. Once you’ve been in a 20 minute fight with nobody dying you get it. Im very high burst damage. I’ve came up to a player and dropped a Toxic Barrage in there back. There health dropped 25% and they did nothing. Right now the only thing killing anything are dk bombers. Heck on Xbox 75% seems to be. They won’t nerf healing because they don’t want the PVE community to die killing mobs. My PVP builds destroy in PVE but not PVP. I run a couple DD proc builds. I shouldn’t have to have a proc set compensate for inadequate damage or better yet put a dent in do nothing damage mitigation sets. A good start is to eliminate cross healing. Theses ball groups are in snow treaders spamming radiant and echoing vigor. The rest spam AOE running PB, VD and DC. Great video.

The 40k+ hp along with good dmg is horrible for pvp. Currently you'll have groups almost fighting to a stalemate cuz everyone's running the same stuff. Then a bomber clears a side up. It's not as fun as it used to be.

These casuals always complaining over somthing, "tank meta( definitely wasnt that bad high pen and done) dot meta (every class has a purge or access to one) another dot meta (refer to previous) proc meta (definitely isnt proc meta refer to sloads days). People been running masters for years. Its always been good in pvp. Literal years. Vateshran again people been using for ever, the comb? Absolutely nothing new about it. Lol literally nothing new.

Uhhg. The eso community is the absolute worst community. These will surely be nerfed to the ground. And the funny thing is people have been using this combo for a looooooooooong time. Waaaaaaaaayyy before necrom. They could make sets completely irrelevant in eso pvp and people would still find somthing to cry about until its nerfed. Thanks to the community we have lost in game mechanics in pvp. Gone are the uppercut knock up plays, chaining people off and up to walls, teleporting upto walls, leaping to walls. Zzzzzzz just big Ls for the past few years.

Oh, I think you missed the part where we've been whining about healing being too strong for a year and a half in your history meta lesson, I think it also contributed to overtuning of the dots

If this is such a popular meta (not that I doubt that), why aren't there elaborate build guide videos on it? You know the type I mean, right? Like, where they needlessly read aloud to us all the passives and tell us how to craft enchants for the gear; just sparing no detail whatsoever. People seem to love making videos like those. Seems like surely someone would cover this meta.

Wouldn't Plaguebreak be a good 5-piece to use in this setup, since it punishes the enemy for cleansing? That way you get em coming or going..?

Honestly no clue why my beloved necro died although it's a DoT meta- guess I'll still try my annoying bleedcro build with Dragon's Appetite, masters dw (yes sorry I use that), and back bar 2h for weapon buff, carve bleed, probably just my good old Stuhn or NMA or sth. Maybe I'll also grind Mage Guild for its DoT and either buff or heal attached, and of course Magicka Blastbones

It's an MMO, it takes skill and experience to be good at anything challenging in an MMOrpg, as well as grinding for the best in slot gear to help increase your chances and just make it overall easier, I've played mostly pvp to level my character from 1 to 50 and yeah you get smacked occasionally but I saw my power increase as I got better, faster and more comfortable

What u think about snake in the stars set with it? If they wanna heal it will delete them, especially because you can proc it with vateshran staff as well for combo
Niche set but could work with this setup pretty well, you either die from procs or from anti heal set

Do u think a good build would be: Oakensoul, Masters duals, maarseloc monsters, wretched vit, and trainee or druids in the other 2 slots? for NB, coz i have some disability in my left arm and is easier for me to pvp with 1 bar!

thoughts on blood thirsty over infused? is it a huge damage diff? I like infused to effect my healing as well

So let me start by saying I guess I'm part of the problem since I have a bunch of different toons running variations of this. That being said have some questions if you would like to help. Going between maras balm and way of fire on sorc and wondering what the best 5 piece would be for him. What would the best 5 piece be for warden? Using maras balm atm but want to switch it. Also what would be the best 5 piece set for a brawler nightblade?

To fix the problem, they need to do a few things in my opinion.

1. Nerf undeath to 10% (so you cannot infinitely stack tons of massive damage reductions on high health setups) This allieviates the issue of people not dying and having stupid levels of damage and healing.

2. Nerf crit healing and crit damage via battle spirit to 90% cap. Crit is currently far too effective over everything else and crit values should be less.

3. Nerf vateshran and Masters dual wield. It needs to happen they are both just pretty broken on every level. Basically free massive pressure for no effort.

4. Watch on PTS and adjust as needed for any outlier sets

This is probably the second worst meta in eso's pvp history. The worst meta by far was still when bleeds ignored resistances and defile scaled to 50% reduced healing.

Imagine that with current Masters bleed and Vatestran 😂

PvP is garbage at the moment. And it feels like it get worse every new Patch. It's like they want to make a casual thing out of it. Everyone just play one build and everyone can play together... Yeeha 🙄

Since the time Maras came out pvp get worse and worse... I don't get the point whats the goal for pvp players/meta in the future. And I think ZoS even don't know too.

Instead of bring new Sets and make things worse, they should rework old sets to make them attractive again. There are more then enough in the game that are not used because they are absolutely outdated.

Day #1 pvp player here, i’m actually enjoying the meta but it’s been the same for quite awhile. I probably enjoy it because i have wll these sets. I have 16 pvp toons & each one of them has a setup like this. Next patch class specific sets & new mythics are incoming & i think those new sets alone will mix it up more. I don’t think they’ll change much to older sets & how they work anymore, this foundation is meta because many new “class” specific sets & spell crafting incoming 10 year anniversary will change the game.

As a absolute pure solo PVPer (generally a good to very good one in game) who have written in the forum to complain about how a pure PVPer is left behind in the game, I understand much better, why I struggle that much in PVP to top charts in this game (contrary to famous others). The lack of access to the PVE gear becomes to penalizing for me, you showed me by how much ! Liked and subscribed !

Haven't played ESO seriously since my daughter was born about 2 years ago, not sure why it showed me this video but I'm glad it did. Lol, I feel as though it went from BR dual wield and now it's masters? 😵‍💫

Pvp is only bad because you nerds only run permablock tank sets. Play proc sets, dps sets, bomb sets, legit anything. Tank meta is ruining the game. Lame nerds

Bar setup on the warden?

Ive not run this setup on warden, but in pretty surprised you find it best there, tbh. Warden sustain feels rough. It needs 27 healing skills which is great to stay topped off, but irs buff simulator and still doesnt have the "get me out of beam range" button of coag. I feel like dk and nb do more damage in trainee than meta-ish magden. Plus lacking hard cc. Idk, my dk just feels so much easier to play.

I might try this, but it doesnt really feel like im playing my warden, if feels like im playing masters dw/maarselok, ya know? Its fun when your bar is full of class skills.

Keep pve sets n mythics outta pvp. Make these scrubs get good

How do we fix the balance? Battle spirit caps health at 30k before emp, minor toughness, other changes like necro Goliath ult and allow DoTs to be blocked. Tanky bois become more vulnerable to burst and that requires more skill than pressing three buttons and turtling
