Very informative for a new collector like myself. My favorites are the National Bank notes. There is something about the front face that appeals to me.

Video is good. Ben constantly said rhetorical “rights” constantly. It’s a lack of vocabulary

I don't collect currency, but if I could go back to my youth, I would certainly get into it. I see the auctions on eBay and the bidding goes apeshit on some of these notes. High demand means that such an item will sell easily and at close to retail price. Of course there are similar items in the coin collecting realm too.

I have wanted a $1000 bill since I was a kid but could never afford one so I finally got a 1914 $20 federal reserve note just for the Grover Cleveland portrait.

As an intermediate paper money collector these types of videos do warm my heart. Aside from myself there are only a few others on here that share paper money videos. So for that I thank you. Some big notes in there in excellent mid to high grade Ben, collection dump from someone or newps at the show?

Holy crap, I didn't even know those $5 silver certificates even existed. They REALLY put a Morgan dollar on a banknote????
I need to do more research.

Thanks for sharing currency! Very nice job with a quick "explainer". But is paper currency more confusing than coins or just a language you don't speak? Arrow dates/no arrow dates, varying dimensions & weights within the same denomination, different patterns, full band, full steps, full bell lines, metal content, mint marks, double dies, large date/small date, and VAM varieties can make coins extremely complicated. And isn't all circulating coins issued post 1970 basically debt service coins?

Thank you. For the first time that I can remember, collecting paper money makes a little sense. The buffalo and the indian were super cool and would look cool next to an indian or buffalo gold coin!

I began my currency collection at collecting the 1928 and 1934 $20 dollar bills that are uncirculated in high grade. I know these dollars are kind of rare and are very collectible soo I started buying them over 15 years ago and now there's roughly 100 of them in my collection for my own collection. The rarest dollar I've ever seen before is the Boston 1928 $20 dollar bills. Only a few of them exist since the fire destroyed nearly 80 percent of them in the fire.

It'd be really nice if PMG or PCGS would have price guides for their notes. Kind of hard to know a good price when the books list a price for VG, XF and CU65.

Not been a currency collector. Coins have held more value for me.
However, if I ever became one I'd only want 1 note. That amazing $1000 "watermelon" bill.
I don't expect that will ever happen.

Man that was pretty interesting. I don’t have any old bills like those but a local dealer has some that I will take a closer look at them and try and pick up one just to own at least one piece of paper money.

Interesting video. You could have added currency from all the different national charter banks. I know a coin dealer in Portsmouth Ohio who collects currency from national charter bank of Portsmouth Ohio.
