Inspiring. Thank you.❤
ОтветитьAll these ted talks are woke ppl lmfao
ОтветитьUnfortunately this seemed to be more of a promotion for her own business than actual advice for a students in college.
ОтветитьWhy does she keep saying they when she’s referring to 1 person?
ОтветитьWhat a waste of time
ОтветитьFor me is so hard as an immigrant. After high school graduation 2020 I never went to college. Now that I see how hard is to find a job I’m going 2023 back to college I hope works out. Honestly Is sad how out here is not much help for students like me
ОтветитьFailing many classes right now. Doubt this will help, but let’s find out (haven’t watched it).
ОтветитьDon't get to try their major before they graduate? That's not the case at Penn State where student can do all kinds of labs beginning in the third semester or take a semester off to do a co-op
ОтветитьGiven 10 to 15 minutes a year to tall with their advisor. That's bull. Students can meet with advisors once a week of they want to. But they generally don't.
ОтветитьTJ: Gender something something, vegan, what else 😂 average modern murican
Ответитьhere's the comment appreciating that guy interpreting this amazing video to sign language!
ОтветитьWell this was a waste of time
ОтветитьYou don't need to go to college to get an education, but you do need to go to college to get a certificate.
ОтветитьOmit the woke language. You talked about TJ and I lost interest.
ОтветитьI believe all you need to be good at college is your own beautiful room with your own desk and no noice also be organized
Ответить🤍🌟
ОтветитьI need this to learn to be a successful student in Berkeley college
Ответитьi got a d and f on my first exam
ОтветитьThis has been so helpful! I’m a freshman currently at a four year university and I’m currently questioning my path as to how I want to accomplish my career goals. I thought I wanted the ‘typical college experience’. Now l’m understanding the weight, financially mostly, of my academic choices. I attend a stem based university however I want to seek more design opportunities in a more uplifting environment that supports design as a career. This realization has also allowed me to question the importance of college and how I choose to further my education. Rather than looking for the ‘college experience’, I am putting a greater importance on what education path is best for me along with my well being. This video has helped me so much with having more confidence and assertion with my choices. Thank you!!
ОтветитьAlways going to remember this speech
ОтветитьHow does this work in the time of COVID-19?
ОтветитьI wish I knew about this university before.
ОтветитьAman dhatterwal should be called on ted talks stage🧡
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful idea turned into action!
ОтветитьIf you open in India and reach out to everybody, you will be having the highest number of students. I truly mean it.
Ответить❤️
ОтветитьI'd like this video to be more shared. The ideas can be implemented, even parts of them would help.
I am one of that "promising high school students" who quietly building his perspectives in life now. This kind of videos and talks are really helpful to understand what this bright side of improving the world is like, how many smart (in terms of ideas and acomplishing them) people out of 7 b. are here. This kind of "I could ask their opinion about my future projects on the stage of planning by email" feel makes me really happy.
I hope by the time I rise completly I will visit them and say my gratitudes ^ _^)
This video is beautiful and amazing. I hope this woman writes a book
ОтветитьThank you so much, Michelle, this helped me so much to start thinking about what I actually want in life, what makes me happy and helps me find purpose. I wish you so much love, health, and happiness for this year and the rest of your life!!
ОтветитьGoddard College is the experiment in higher education that you overlooked. No SAT or GPA scores needed. Design your own curriculum. Two years and low-residency so you can continue your work in your community while building your cohort with students around the country.
Ответитьdegrees do matter or you wont get the job you wanted
ОтветитьWhy's that dude throwing gang signs at me in the corner
ОтветитьTed talks. Not even once kids.
ОтветитьThank you. WE LOVE THIS at DiscoverPathwaze
ОтветитьThat outro.. You better preach!
ОтветитьYo wait a minute this isn't spiderman homecoming
ОтветитьIf your parents are not rich don't go to college and figure out something else. There is a lot of alternatives today.
ОтветитьI wish their website discussed some more specifics of their curriculum. It seems very art and humanities based, which is wonderful, but my interests are also in the science realm and I don't see how this would help me learn that.
ОтветитьSO stoked to be a student at Wayfinding Academy! The vision and dream that Michelle has is so inspiring and motivating. Awesome talk! Thank you Michelle!
ОтветитьNailed it. You're an inspiration Michelle!
ОтветитьThis is really excellent and an important video. Everyone in Higher Ed should be talking about models like this! We need real innovation and brave leaders to make real change.
ОтветитьI had the pleasure of meeting Michelle a few years ago. She is by far one of the most interesting peple I know. Let's live life on purpose and help cultivate each other. - Well done Michelle, congratulations to you and your team at Wayfiding Academy.
Ответитьwow umm this video was interesting. I think she implemented a resolution that wouldn't be scalable to a college or community school. What is sounds like she did, is kinda along the lines of apprenticeship, so kids can get hands on learning and work in their field of study. I don't see a problem with it.
With government involved their will be no innovation or very slow innovation.
However the fix to higher education is actually quite simple but it's politically incorrect. We get rid of all loans for higher education and you will see how quickly tuition will fall. Loans are what are driving up tuition costs, universities are just taking advantage of getting paid by the government pretty much. If we cut loans, than students won't be so quick to go to college and they would probably go work and figure out if they actually wanna work in the field of their interest. If we also cut loans we will see colleges get rid of administration that isn't actually doing anything, to save costs.
Kudos to you. We need more women like you to show us all, there are more choices then the status quo.
ОтветитьYes! Well done!
ОтветитьCongratulations!
ОтветитьCongratulations, Michelle!
ОтветитьVery glad i clicked on this video.
Excellent presentation.
this lady doesn't understand that students need to take personal responsibility
ОтветитьI Love this!!! It truly made me cry! Yay Michelle and all the Wayfinding staff and people who participated in Wayfinding Academy's founding! YAY TJ!!! Yay to all of the alumni! What a difference in higher education you ARE ALL MAKING!!!
