I have been a hard core headbanger my whole life and i love the tiny desk concerts, so i decided to give you a try taylor. Im currently going through a mid life crisis kinda and i just want you to know that this helped allot. She is as real a person as you can be and that really made me see a difference, that you can be this huge crazy superstar but still just be a real person. Thanks you for this concert, its everything im feeling right now ha😂 im a swity now lol who woulda thought 🤘

This is proof that Taylor is an absolute genuine mega star, she does not need a big stage, hand her a guitar or a piano, and let her sing her songs for the world to listen. One of the best performances ever.

I dunno her songs are just kinda, okay. Like they're not bad. They're just... sorta good. A few of them manage to be great. Most are very shallow and basic. She has a beautiful voice and a great delivery. But everybody falls all over themselves fawning over her, I don't get it at all. Like for Beyonce I get it, her songs will be played 40 years from now, her albums will continue to be plumbed for B-sides 60 years from now. The Beyonce hype online is similarly high and obsessive compared to Taylor's, but it's at least merited. With Taylor I just feel like all of these fans just discovered music for the first time, the things they say about why it's good are so asinine. If you read this comment outraged, maybe go listen to some Joni Mitchell. Same vibe but a singer-songwriter that stands the test of time.
