This is the problem on the female side, man can make any remarks to another man, but when it comes to friendly remark towards women it is usually badly received...
So please visit some kind of social therapist ; )

The reason she gets advice is because she can’t really ride and men notice it and want to say something lol

Had a man actually tell me off last weekend for being a big ring rider, mansplaining about high cadence bla bla bla in front of an audience… I just smiled and laughed at the end of his diatribe and said, ‘I will never stop being a big ring rider, no matter what you say!’ Personally, I am very big on my sweet spot and change/trim gears constantly to maintain that high cadence in my sweet spot. Conversely, I spin out too much on the small ring and cannot seem to get any push from those gears on flat/small hills, and therefore only use it for climbing. This type of ‘advice’ is not welcome, but I will happily take advice on mechanical things I have no knowledge about.

I never offered any advice to female cyclist unless they ask for it. Most of female cyclist I met are very capable, some even more than myself. If I met a cyclist male/female at road side and they seems to have some problem then I'd just ask if they need help, if not then I'll get going. No need to be a smart ass.

Dont go overboard with leftist woke propaganda... Most of the girls suck at cycling and doesn't know a lot about it... While boys are much more inclined and into it... But yeah, it is better to bash someone and play victim than to accept friendly advice for your own good. I give advices in gym, on bike, run, to both men and women...no problems. I'm speaking about people that love sport and want to improve... if you want likes and attention than ofcourse you don't want advices...

Enough with the "mansplaining" nonsense! Men like to help women, if she already knows the advice, then she already knows, there is no problem.

Heaven forbid a man wants to lead up into a conversion with a woman. This only stems from modern women's insecurity and a chip on their shoulder about being weaker to men.

To be fair, women can also be guilty of offering unsolicited advice. Check out a nutrition or fasting group sometime. But, that said, I understand you’re point about mansplaining.

I guess this type of 'cross vlogging' is the way to go nowadays. Trying to get in yt movies from others that have a bigger audience to grow your own channel. I saw her popping up in a few other ones also.
Nothing wrong with that, just interesting to see how those commercial vloggers try to market themselves.

LOL, cycling advice has nothing to do with gender, if you think it does and you take it the wrong way, that's your ego talking and that's your problem. So ignore the advice or tell the person to shut up. Go ahead and ride uncomfortable, contorted and slow. And don't complain when your ass hurts. Oh and men don't read minds either. The plural of the word advice is advice.

Fair enough, the next time a female cyclist calls me unhelpful, I'll refer them to this video... Also I've had an equal measure of VAGsplaining on more female dominated subjects and never moaned about it..., only limiting yourself to solicited advice just shows a certain level of arrogance

I totally disagree with mansplaining and unsolicited advice. It's an appalling way to get likes in your video. I'll stop helping women I see who have punctured then as this is unsolicited help? I'll stop saying hello to women in the bike as this is unsolicited social contact and if I see a female with a dangerous technical issue she is unaware of u won't warn her as this is unsolicited help. You should know better than this! ⚡

The unsolicited advice is just the excuse for random men to approach a female cyclist and have a bit of conversation. That's why maybe women got off and don't like these sort of interactions. It's a bit sad though. I love receiving advice, but as a man it's different maybe?

If I see someone on the side of the road with a mechanical or other problem, I never pass them without asking if they are ok or want some help. About 70% of the time it’s men. 90% of the time they say they’re fine. 10% of the time they are so glad to have gotten a tube or borrowed a pump. 100% of the time, people have thanked me for asking. Some people prefer to walk and I always respect that.

I agree that reading the comments section has given me a lot of useful tips that I wouldn’t get even at a bike shop.

As a 25 year old man riding amongst 50-60 year old chronically traditionalist male riders, I probably experience something similar to what some women experience, since some of these old riders are trying to tell me what I am supposed to enjoy about cycling and what a weirdo I am. However I don't take it personally, but make fun of it so do they haha. Apart from it I think it's a shame about cycling that if you are young and your FTP is bellow 9000 and you are not at least an elite amateur racer then you won't ride with riders of your age for sure.
How does Alina have this accent? English is not my mother language but I wouldn't tell that she is not a native English speaker. Is this how German education is or did she grew up amongst English people as a very young child? Or would native speakers be able to tell that's not her No1 language? 😂

It is an easy thing to happen men always used to help women if a woman stops in a car with car smoking or something men will randomly stop and help, it's not just cycling. Just like me when I am out with my kids women are always trying to womanplain to me when it comes to advice with kids even though I have 3, in workplaces women always give me cooking tips and baby advice. I just try and see it as people not being offensive and just trying to help, you never know one day you may actually need help.

Great video though, you ride in a beautiful area looks amazing
