The R is my daily driver gotta say it's perfect other than the brakes everything is perfect and most importantly fuel consumption for having a fast car is very good.

VW ruined their cars with being stereotype interior and tech. As a 2015 Golf 7 driver I don't need to buy a new one.

As a Golf 8R 20 years edition owner I absolutely despice the leather seats of this car. I think picking leather seats is such a letdown and also design wise the cloth / alcantara seats are SO much better and more fitting. Also they cost like 3000€ less so only a huge ass win in my book. Sure they don't come with cooling but who needs cooled seats....

Really nice car and in Holland i see they came down to about 45K price now .

But still i dont know if i will ever get one cuz the interior just F''s it all up, not a fan of the steering wheel and especially that sad little gear knob OMG echt heel erg jammer.

What's with the cut out for the air intake? I've not heard of that being done on MK8's and can't find anything about this mod

Love GTI & R's. Perfect reasonably quick, quiet and comfortable car for the MONEY. There isn't much better.

Ik weet niet hoe handig het is voor onze gastvrije Muhammad Ali om expliciet te vermelden dat de auto geen OPF meer heeft. Dat kan een vervelend staartje geven vanuit RDW als zij meekijken inclusief kenteken en dan krijgt ie zomaar misschien een WOK-status

I have golf 8 GTI 245ps freaking amazing car ❤ i have a limit speed at 245km but anyway its amazing ❤ for 400€ i can make stage 1 from 245ps to 320ps but i dont need it

Only 430 hp? In Italy there's a tuning workshop that can bring a Golf 8 R easily to 470 - 500 hp :)

I guess it's Stage 2 and not 1 if you need a inlet/intake, IC, exhaust/cat and a tune. Otherwise you won't be able to reach 430hp.
